Chapter 2: The Unbalanced God
Back at the Rebel Army's Castle, Frederick continues to read on about Alrous from the book he got. His eyes scan each page, the more he reads the more tense he looks. His eyes widen after flipping to the next page, his face expression goes into a state of disbelief. He slowly guides his eyes through the page. After a few hours of careful reading, he finishes reading 303 pages, he closes the book and lays it on his desk. He sits up from his light brown wooden chair and pushes it back in. He walks to his door and opens it, walks out and closes it behind him.
He walks into the main room with Stephanie, Spero, Reid, Zenovia, Mercutio, and Nero in the room. They all look at Frederick knowing that he had left his room knowing information upon Alrous' control on Dante. Frederick closes his eyes and takes a deep breath, he walks over to a chair, pulls it out and sits down, he opens his eyes back up and looks at the six. "Frederick, do you have something you need to tell us?" Stephanie asked, Frederick looks over at Stephanie and shakes his head up and down. "Get everyone in here. I've discovered some information regarding Dante. This information may even change Spero and Zenovia's opinions." Frederick replied. Stephanie sits up from her chair and walks into every single room of every single member of the army and tells them "Frederick may have discovered very important information about Dante." After 7 minutes, everyone arrives in the main room, waiting upon Frederick for the information regarding their former commander.

"I've gone through all the pages of the book I told Stephanie and Seperadith to get me. The information I uncovered was shocking, dark, and horrible. You can even call it terrible." Frederick moves his eyes over to the left side.
"What I found were many facts and secrets about Alrous. He has taken over Dante, has nearly complete control over Dante. What Alrous wants with Dante is to use him as a host in order for Alrous to become something he wants to become in order for this world to become unbalanced. He wants to become this demon that he can transform into if he has the power which he needs Dante for. You see, Alrous feeds off negative, unbalanced energy from the host he chooses in order to become his full form. He chooses the host via who has the most unbalanced energy, which in this case was Dante. The only known tool to save Dante is a key, known as the Ebony Key which Guthix created 1,000 years ago after an event happened that made Alrous the way he is now. The Ebony Key's whereabouts are currently unknown and the city that was said to have held the Ebony Key was The Sacred City of Balance which I've heard was raided a few years back." Frederick said.
"Well, this is lovely information and all but me and my sister really need to get going." Spero said. Frederick moves his eyes, looking at Spero and Zenovia. "Why? Isn't this what you wanted? You are after Alrous afterall." Frederick replied. "We're not a part of this army. Therefore, we don't have to stay." Spero continued to reply with rude comments. Frederick raised his eyebrows, Spero and Zenovia walk out the castle door, Spero pauses for a moment and looks back. "Surely we'll meet again." Spero mumbled to himself. Zenovia walks over to her paused half brother.

"C'mon. We got to go to the Sacred City of Balance." Zenovia told Spero. "Right." Spero said as he walked forward. After a few hours, the skies were dark since it was nighttime. Spero and Zenovia arrive at a traveler's pub and inn. They walk into it and pull in two chairs from under a table and sit down and lay their map down and plan. Zenovia overhears somebody talking about The Sacred City of Balance. A young woman and a very tall man talk to another man in his 50's.
"So, why are you heading that way? Didn't that place get attack by that vile Cameron?" The old man asked the young woman.
"Yes. We must find something there." The young woman replied as she sips her cup of tea. The old man looks straight up at the very tall man.
"And the tall fellow here isn't going to complain about anything? I heard that place was haunted."
"It does not matter. What does matter is our plan, nothing more. We merely came this way looking for your information regarding that plan." The tall man said. The old man rubs the back of his head.
"Well, I can only offer you this. Head far west of here and you'll find a ruin. Enter that ruin and continue through the pathway and you should enter the Sacred City of Balance without the threat of guardian forces of balance coming at you. Just make sure you wear this here amulet while you enter that ruin." The old man gave a amulet to the tall man. The amulet had a big, green emerald and Guthix's symbol craved in the middle with the words "Balance is power" engraved on the edging trim. The young woman sits up from her chair. "I thank you for your time and information." The tall man thanked as he and the young woman walked out the door.

Zenovia sits up from her chair and walks out the door leaving Spero confused. "W-Wait! Zenovia!? Where are you going?!" Spero shouted out a question to his older half-sister but she does not respond. Spero runs after her, he arrives next to Zenovia. "Zenovia, what are you-" Spero continued to ask questions. "Shh.." Zenovia silenced her younger half-brother. Zenovia and Spero continued to quietly follow the tall man and young, quiet woman. The young woman begins to hear the faint sound of footsteps and whispers, she moves her eyes and looks at the tall man. "Ambrotos. Jump forward now." The young woman asked Ambrotos. "Alright. But why?" Ambrotos jumps 3 yards away from where he was. The young woman quickly turns over "Move!" Spero shouted to Zenovia.
She and Spero jump back and the young woman swings her left arm to the right and an explosion of fire shoots from the ground. This attack sparks a huge fire, the young woman looks above the fire and sees her instincts were correct. "Enemies." The young woman mumbled. "Lady Claire, are you alright?" Ambrotos asked. "Yes. I'm fine.". Claire moves her left arm in-front of her and fire splits away into two, making a pathway for Claire and Ambrotos. They walk through this pathway, after they walk passed the split fire, Claire snaps her right thumb and middle finger together and the fire goes back to normal.

They stop walking when they are 7 feet away from Zenovia and Spero. Spero and Zenovia jump back onto their feet. "See? I knew this was going to happen." Spero mumbled to Zenovia. "Maybe it was your negative feelings that made them know we were following them." Zevonia mumbled back. Ambrotos pulls out his very huge Black 2h Sword and points it to Spero's neck. "Why were you following us?" Ambrotos asked Spero. "Simple. We were following you because you were going to The Sacred City of Balance, right? So, we were going there too, so there." Spero replied. Ambrotos moves his blade closer to Spero's neck, Spero smirks. "Want to play threaten huh? Well, you're messing with the wrong person, the wrong Half-God." Spero clenches his fists and the fire caused by Claire shoots at Ambrotos, Claire holds her right hand out and heavy amounts of water rain down and quickly puts out the flame. Ambrotos swings his sword to kill Spero but Zenovia stops his attack by blocking with her Rune Battleaxe.
Ambrotos jumps back next to Claire, Claire throws both her arms out and a huge blast of water shoots out and charges at Spero and Zenovia at extreme speeds, in a blink of a eye the blast blows both of them away, the water suddenly shifts into a straight line and moves to a horizontal side but dramatically changes in speed, Spero swings his Rune Longsword and as soon as his sword hits the water's surface the sword splits into two. "Don't touch the water! This water is extremely sharp!!" Spero shouted to Zenovia as he ran. When Spero and Zenovia were far enough, they face the giant blade like water. "Ready?" Spero asked Zenovia. "Ready." Zenovia replies. Spero shoots a burst of air at the giant wave blade, Zenovia shoots a Air Wave at the wave blade as well, it was a clash of elements.

Meanwhile, at the Army of the Altais' kingdom. Thanatos and Julia bow before their ruler, Dante Bellerophon.
"My lord. We heard you needed us so we came as soon as we could." Thanatos said. Dante looks at Thanatos and moves his eyes over to Julia.
"Yes. Something has come to my attention. It seems more and more people are joining the battle for power. But most people have interest in true power, much interest for this army's power. Therefore, most of these mortals are unbalanced and absolutely foolish." Dante said.
"What do you have in mind, my lord?" Julia asked. Dante smirks.
"We shall use these fools to add fuel to the fire. Remember, Lord Alrous feeds upon nothing more but the surrounding unbalanced power therefore we need more unbalanced energy around so Lord Alrous' form can take shape quicker. Also, something else has come to my attention, it seems The Rebel Army of Lumbridge has learned something about Lord Alrous. His only weakness...The Ebony Key. This key was once kept safe at The Sacred City of Balance until it was attacked by Cameron Aeolus. He stole the key and has kept it secret and safe for years now. Thanatos, I want you to find Cameron and take The Ebony Key, take it from him even if it means killing him or not. Julia, I need to to get some mortals for Lord Alrous. Take a hundred soldiers if it's needed."
"Yes sir." Thanatos and Julia replied to Dante's orders, they stand up and walk out of the throne room. Dante sits up from his throne chair and walks into his room and looks out the window. He hears a voice calling to him.

"Lord Alrous. I have ordered the two to go after the things you wanted, my lord." Dante said. Dante looks behind him, and looks at his shadow and sees the shadow's eyes glow red orange. The shadow forms into a figure in the shape of a human.

"Good. I'm sure Thanatos will take the Ebony Key from Cameron and I trust Julia to get me the best unbalanced souls. All I worry about is the knowledge of the Elder Druids and the elder of Assassins of Kochab, Solomon Anima. Afterall, he does have connections to the Elder Druids." Alrous replied.

"I'm sure we'll be fine. Afterall, they can't get to the Ebony Key before us."

"Hmmm...I'm not sure about that."

"We just have to trust in Thanatos' abilities, that's all."

"I suppose you're right." Alrous raised his voice with every word spoken. "Darn the Ebony Key and its effects." he growled. Dante begins to see a vision, after a minute the vision was over.

"My lord, it also seems like The Rebel Army of Lumbridge is on their way to Cameron as well."

"That's a good thing. A VERY good thing." Alrous smiles.

"What exactly do you mean?"

"You'll see. Just sit back and enjoy the show." Alrous' voice sounded very calm and confidant.

"If you say so, my lord." Alrous touches the south wall of Dante's room and opens a rip and now can see what is going on with the rebel army. Dante sits down and watches. Back at The Rebel Army of Lumbridge's castle, they know their plans and begin to travel to the main outskirt camp far south of Zamorak's castle where Cameron is located. Stephanie stares at the midnight sky, she clenches her fists.

"Don't worry Dante. Where ever you are, we'll set you free."
