First Chapter of 2009
Chapter 10: Fearful Attack (Tenth Chapter
)
P.S: To Ark, this is the chapter you wanted. Though this may not be the way you wanted, I tried my best. Please forgive me if I didn't get it right.
The snow continued to fall from the dark clouds covering the sky above. Mercutio walks outside and begins to think to himself. On the other side of the castle, Frederick looks outside from his room's window. He lets out a sigh and downs his head to continue writing down on a book with all the pages being blank. "What is going to happen? *sigh* If only I can see into the future." Frederick said to himself. He begins to hear very quiet footstep noises crunching the snow from outside. Frederick looks outside and sees nothing. He shrugs his shoulders and looks back at his book and continues to write with his quill. Back with Mercutio, he looks at the sky and sighs. He hears very faint footsteps and he grabs the handle of his gilded blade and shuffles his eyes left and right. The footsteps got louder and louder, he turns around and swings his sword to the left and kills a Zamorakian Assassin. A group of 20 circle around Mercutio with their weapons drawn.
"I would suggest you throw down your weapon General Mercutio." A voice said. Mercutio looks behind him and sees Zaros was the one who said those words.
"Zaros!?" Mercutio growled. Zaros crosses his arms.
"I'm sure that the old man Saradomin did not train you to be a fool Mercutio. Either throw down your weapon and no one will get hurt or you can go for the hard way and you will get hurt. Because trust me, there are more assassins around than you think."

Mercutio looks in-front of him and slashes his sword to the right and kills 3 soldiers. Zaros shakes his head side to side in disappointment. "I'm quite disappointed in your choice." Zaros summons his Ancient Staff into his left hand. "Oh well, it's funnier this way! Attack!" The assassins swarm Mercutio but their bodies were sent flying after being blown away by Mercutio's strength. All the assassins lay on the ground dying from their wounds that were inflicted by Mercutio. The snow went from white to crimson red. Mercutio points his blood covered gilded blade at Zaros. The blood drips from the Mercutio's blade to the snow covered ground. Iban appears at the battleground via teleportation with a smirk on his face. Zaros and Mercutio look at him. Zaros grins in anger.
"Iban? What the hell are you doing here?! You're suppose to be with the raiding camp!" Zaros growled.
"Yes, yes, yes. My father sent me here on a special mission. To see how your progress is coming."
"Are you telling me Zamorak doesn't trust me!? Does he not think I can handle a human!?"
"You'd be surprised Zaros about what he thinks but yes Lord Zamorak doesn't believe in your power."
"He dares mock me; The Empty Lord!!?" Iban shrugs his shoulders.
"No disrespect your 'lordship'. Oh and I've got-"
"Grrr...I will make him suffer by making his only son suffer!"
"Is that a threat? Haha what a fool." The Zamorakian Assassins that remain hidden grab Zaros' arms and throw him down on his knees and hold him in that position. Iban walks up to Zaros. He points a sword at Zaros' throat with a cocky smirk on his face.
"Oh and my other mission is to kill you Zaros." Iban said. Zaros glares at Iban.
"Why did Zamorak order you to do this!?"
"Well, here's a reason for you. You're not calling my father Lord Zamorak. Oh did I mention he hates you?" Iban swings his sword five times and cuts Zaros' throat, chest, right arm, left arm, and face and leaves extremely deep wounds and kills him. He lays on the ground lifeless and his body disappears into a black mist like fog. Iban turns around and looks at Mercutio and sees his eyes widen.
"General Mercutio Valadrian, is that right? I am General Iban, mighty and noble son to the great and soon to be ruler of this land Zamorak. Now, will you come with me? Or must I cut off your limbs and drag you there?" Iban asked. Mercutio looks away and pauses for a moment. He sighs and drops his sword and kneels on the ground. "So old man Saradomin did teach you when to give up eh? Well, you were smart Mercutio."
A few assassins walk up to Mercutio. He quickly grabs his sword from the snow covered ground and cuts all the assassins near him in-half. Iban raises his eyebrows with a smirk on his face. "Tsk tsk tsk. You were a fool but your have guts; I'll give you that. Oh well, so much for taking you easily. Men, execute Plan B." Iban commanded. A hidden assassin chops Mercutio on the back on the neck and knocks him out. After a few hours, Mercutio wakes up tied up in a camp tent. He moves his eyes and looks at his surroundings. He sees Iban and a hood wearing Zamorakian enter the tent.
"Ah, well. He's wake." Iban looks at the hooded Zamorakian. "So, you think you can cast your magic on him?" The hooded Zamorakian remained expressionless. He moves his eyes and looks over at Iban.

"I've used my magic on the best and strongest of Saradominists. Trust me, he'll be easy to crack." The hooded Zamorakian stated. Iban shrugs his shoulders with the same smirk on his face.
"Alright. I trust in your abilities." Iban left the tent and walks over to Ravinius and he was sharping his arrows. Ravinius moves his eyes and looks at Iban. Iban crosses his arms. Ravinus looks back at his arrows and continues to sharpen them.
"So. What did the torturemaster say about the prisoner?" Ravinius asked.
"He said that he'll be able to easily torture him." Iban replied. Ravinius finishes sharping his arrows and begins sharping his Dragon Dagger. "Well. I hope you can lead this massacre without problems. Good luck, General Ravinius." Iban walks away to prepare the soldiers. After an hour, the massacre has begun and many corpses lay on the ground lifeless with flames shooting out from many buildings and smoke shot into the air and could be seen for miles. As the Zamorakians killed, two hooded druids hid behind a building.
"I must use the Ab Oran spell."
"You can't use that. You know Master Solomon made it clearly known that who ever uses that spell is banished from the Assassins of Kochab!" The druid quiet said to the other druid.
"Well what are we going to do?! People are dying in-front of us; people we know and care for!" The other druid shouted quietly.
"*sigh* Alright Spiro. But you know I'm telling Master Solomon about this." Spiro sighs and shakes his head up and down. Spiro clenches his fists and green energy began to glow from them.
He peeks from the far right side of the building and sees Ravinius killing a friend of his. Spiro grins his teeth in anger and shoots the spell at him. Ravinius glowed green for a moment and he began to see as if he were the one who he just killed. He kneels down after a feeling an overwhelming pain in his chest and began to feel this strange sadness. A Zamorakian Knight runs over to Ravinius with much worry. "Are you alright, sir?" The knight asked. Ravinius stands up and pushes the knight out of the way and kills another person and again he sees a vision as if he were the one killed and he felt an overwhelming pain in his throat and this strange feeling of sadness took him over. Memories of the fallen person began to quickly flashback in Ravinius' mind with all those memories burning at the end and the final words of the victim said "Goodbye my once beloved life..."
Meanwhile, back at camp. The Zamorakian torturemaster casts a spell to make Mercutio sees the massacre as if he were there. Mercutio's eyes were widen with Iban laughing as he watched the torturemaster's work in progress. Back at the massacre, with every kill; Ravinus continued to get the same feelings. An unbelievable pain at where he struck the final blow to the victim, an overwhelming feeling of sadness and sorrow, memories of the victim flowing in his head, the final words echoed in Ravinius' head, and the vision of the victim's view right after Ravinius killed them. After the massacre, Ravinius hid in his tent and began to think about what had happened during that massacre, his hands began to shake uncontrollably. He looks at his hands with his eyes widened.
"What is happening to me?!" Ravinius mumbled to himself.

Here's Arky! I just got back from (undisclosed location) via my (undisclosed vehicle) and I'm happy to report that (undisclosed events) went well.
The first Christmas present I received was a positive comment from Mod Mark (Lead Runescape designer) on my quest series!!! Since it was recently announced that they would be searching the forums or new ideas this year, it makes me think my idea might be put in runescape
!!!!!!!
(I'm excited!!!)
And I read both the Holiday special and the Two chapters I missed and found very few errors
Though that may just be from me drinking too much eggnog... either way great job :p
Spiro was Spero's father... which means Spiro's father made Ravinius repent! Awesome. Also, Zaros was killed
Poor fellow; he has it pretty hard for an evil god :p
Here are the two errors I noticed right away, if I see more after the eggnog wears off I'll be sure to tell you :p
"But first. I have a mission for you." Strange period after "But first", either use a comma or just leave a space.
"You're not replying my father as Lord Zamorak" Weird grammar, perhaps you meant "calling my father Lord Zamorak"?
Raphael has managed to escape the Bahamas with only 200 million casualties and 300 destroyed gundams, an acceptable loss. In light of the holidays here's a special (if late) Christmas Raphael Quotes:
Faust: *Hic* And I says to her, that's no kebbit, that's my wife!
Raphael: Faust, why are you talking to the tree?
Faust: Is that who this is? Alas eggnog you *Hic* have wronged me yet again!
Raphael: What exactly is the appeal of this eggnog stuff?
Faust: You mean you've never had *Hic*?
Raphael: I tend to avoid things that smell like sulfur...
Faust: Cmon have a swig, it's the holidays!
Raphael: I suppose it couldn't hurt...
1 hour later
Faust and Raphael: Five onion rings!
Four spotted kebbits
Three short noobs
Two penguin spies
And some eggnog in a tree!
