Chapter 8: The Voice of the Wise (Mainly a talk chapter. But a important talk chapter.
)
The torches lit around the six blast into a color of green. The engraved Guthix emblem on the wall lights up into the color green. A blue like fog covers the temple. Spero, Zenovia, and Ambrotos look around in amazement. The statues of the Elder Druids begin to move on their own.
"He who has summoned us, speak now." Abd-Al-Rahman commanded. Solomon stands up.
"Yes, my lord." Solomon steps forward and moves his eyes to the left then to the right. "I have found the one you spoke about. Spero Forseti is here." Solomon replied.
"Is he?" Qamar asked. Solomon looks over at Spero and moves his left hand up, telling Spero to stand up. Spero stands up and steps forward, beside Solomon.
"I'm right here." he said.
"Spero Forseti. You have knowledge that you might be the divine power that we the Elder Druids have been searching for 1,000 years since the corruption of Alrous, correct?" Abd-Al-Rahman asked. Spero shakes his head up and down.
"Yes. Solomon told me and my friends about it but I haven't awakened my powers yet since I was unsealed from the rune temple." Elder Druid Timothy begins to make a "Hmmm..." sound.
"What is it, Elder Timothy?" Wenceslas asked.
"We haven't got much time." Timothy replied.
"What exactly do you mean sir?" Zenovia asked.
"Judging by how much unbalanced energy is in the air. Alrous is almost ready to transform. We only have about until the end of December." Everybody looks at Timothy in shock.
"W-What!? A month!? That's not nearly enough time to awaken all of my powers!" Spero shouted.
"Well until December 29th to be exact."
"T-That's even worse!"
"We haven't got time to waste." Ambrotos said.
"Headmaster Sabas. What is your take on this?" Timothy asked. With his eyes closed, Sabas begins to think carefully. He opens his eyes back up a minute later.
"We'll have to awaken as many powers as we can. As Spero Forseti has said, the time we have isn't nearly enough time to awaken all of his powers. All in favor of my judgment, say yes." Sabas answered
"Yes." All the Elder Druids replied.
"W-Wait a minute!" All the Elder Druids look at Spero. "Y-You think I could kill Dante without all of my powers?! That man has killed many people with extremely powerful magic and you think I can kill him without the magic to do so!?" Spero shouted
"Spero. Those words weren't out of hatred, were they?" Solomon asked
"Who doesn't hate Dante!? That man has the blood of hundreds on his hands and you think I don't hate him for it?! He's a wicked, twisted, sick, deraged cold-blood murderer!"
"Listen to me. Never hate your enemies. Hatred clouds your mind and your eyes to the tru-"
"Don't give me that bull! Dante should be killed in the most violent matter!" Solomon closes his eyes and shakes his head side to side.
"Spero. Wanting revenge is a poison. It's a inner demon wanting nothing more but needless death and the more that hatred grows the more people will get hurt."
"Well old man. We're on two entirely different pages. You think revenge is a poison while I think revenge is a motivation." After those words, Spero left the temple. Zenovia stands up and tries to run after him but Solomon grabs her left shoulder to stop her. "Let him go. He has lost his way and needs to find his way again on his own." Solomon said to Zenovia. Her eyes are filled with much sadness and worry.
Spero exits the Assassins of Kochab's base and walks into the heated desert of the south. He sits down on a rock and looks at the sky with the words Solomon said repeating in his head.
"What if he is right and the ways I think are wrong. I wish I knew which way to go is right." Spero asked himself. Spero shakes the feeling he had. "No, no, no, no. He isn't right, I'm right. If hatred helps me stay stronger to fight beside Zenovia then I'll keep hating. But what will Zenovia think of my opinon? Is it alright to forgive someone who has killed so many? Is it alright to forgive a sinner, a murderer? *sigh* I feel so misguided..."
Spero looks at the lake near the rock he's sitting on. The sunlight reflects off the water, Spero grabs a pebble and throws it at the water, the pebble splashes into the water. A man sees Spero in such a sad mood and walks over to him. Spero looks at the man and feels that this man's face looked so familiar yet he doesn't know who he is but Spero feels so comfortable with him. The man was about the same height as Spero. The man had snow white hair with green eyes and appeared to be in his 50's or 60's.
"What's a matter? Why do you look so down?" The man asked.
"I'm just a little misguided is all." Spero replied.
"What are you misguided about?"
"If I should forgive someone or not."
"Would this person happen to be a murderer?" Spero jumps off the rock in shock.
"H-How did you know?!"
"I knew someone once who didn't know what to do. I couldn't save that person for death."
"I-I'm sorry to hear that."
"It's fine."
"Why does this guy seem so familiar? Why do I feel so comfortable talking to him?" Spero asked himself.
"Just listen to me. Anger is indeed an emotion but you mustn't use hatred as a weapon. Anger could very well transform you into that next murderer and it could also hurt someone you care deeply about, like a family member or someone you love."
"Yeah...You're right."
"Just remember. Anger is like a beast inside of you and you alone can control it. Learning how to control the beast is a very hard task but it has many benefits and I'm 110% sure you can control your inner beast." The man smiles, Spero smiles as well.
"Yeah, yeah. You're right. Thank you so very much sir for opening my eyes to the truth. Have a great day." Spero said as he ran back to the Assassins of Kochab's base.
"Good luck, Spero." The man mumbled to himself as he walked away.

Excellent chapters, I'm using my photon scanner to look for errors as we speak.
I'm... I'm getting scared. I am positive at some point in chapter 8 you used an "a" instead of an "an" but that being the only mistake... It just might make my editing obsolete!
I must demand you make more mistakes immediately!
Kidding of course
Raphael was so shocked at the lack of errors he hit a tree while flying and fell into the Bahama branch of the Tzhaar fight caves. Next time: Raphael V.S The TzTok-Jad; there will be Gundams!

Sorry about getting you scared now Ark. I guess all I really needed to do for less mistakes was to double read. Then again, I should have done it in the first place. *oooh well.
P.S: Gundams! We're all going to die!
*runs under a rock somewhere!!*
P.S.S: I can't seem to find the error. I think it might during the pebble throwing part but I don't know.
The end
is only
the beginning...
