Name: Ashlyn Davis.
Gender: Female.
Age: 17.

Appearance: Ashlyn's hair is a dark blonde color. There are some natural highlights here and there, but for the most part, it's one tone. It has a jagged cut and in no particular fashion, so it usually looks a bit messy. However, it stays out of her eyes, and that's really all that matters to her.

Her face is small and has a round shape to it, and her skin is fair. Her eyes are a hazel color. She prefers her lips to be soft and as such there’s usually a layer of tinted lip balm on them.

Ashlyn is a bit short for her age, but it isn't very noticeable. Even so, her body is thin but strong, since she’s a competitive swimmer. Or was, I suppose, prior to the disappearance of everyone.

She wears a tight-fitting white *-shirt which she took fabric markers to, thus creating a collage-like display of video game icons. It's hardly white at all, now that it's covered in color, but that's beside the point. With this, Ashlyn wears light blue skinny jeans and brown boots that stretch up to her knees.
Talents: Swimming and fishing, mostly, but she’s at least dabbled in various other water-related activities.
History: The important parts will be revealed during the RP.
Other: See above.

Time keeping was becoming a very difficult thing. Phones were dying and it was a miracle to find a clock in the ruined towns and villages. For this reason James was awake at what he believed to be about 9am, although he might be a couple of hours out and wouldn't know unless someone's phone was hanging onto its last few percent.

James sat by the fire pit, now filled only with ashes as he waited for the others to wake up. Being the kind of guy he is, James had thought of a plan of tasks for the day, beginning with: Build a large store of firewood at the camp and refill all water bottles. They were his main tasks and they would require another person to help him carry everything through the woods.

The sun beamed down into the clearing and warmed his face as he sat, the day warm and dry. Well, at least the weather's good?

Name: Allen Riley
Gender: Male
Age: 16

Appearance: Allen stands about 6' 3" in height, making him pretty damn tall. He has a light, slightly tanned, skin tone. His hair is a dark blond colour, and his eyes are a dark green. There are a few freckles on his cheeks as well as a barely noticeable amount of acne. Allen has no facial hair, although that is not unusual considering his age. Moving down to the rest of his body, he has an average build - he isn't overweight, isn't too thin, isn't too weak to lift something heavy, but isn't rippling with muscles.

For clothing, Allen wears a dark grey T-shirt that bears no slogans or advertisements. Over this, he has a beige spring jacket that is water and wind proof. For pants, he has a pair of slightly faded blue jeans that are otherwise in good condition. His footwear consists of black and white running shoes.

For accessories, he has a silver watch on his right wrist which he frequently checks to make sure it still works, a belt which has a five inch long survival knife and a canteen of water, a camo cowboy hat, and whistle tied around his neck by a string. Finally, on his back he has a pack which contains other basic survival materials.

Talents: Standard first aid training, basic survival knowledge (shelter building, fire building, food collecting), and a good shot with a bow.

History: Allen grew up a small town near the sunnymoor countryside. His life was pretty normal, and he got into video games at a young age, becoming a bit of a recluse in the process. At age twelve, his parents signed him up to join scouts against his own protests, but eventually he decided he liked it. Here he acquired his first aid and survival knowledge. He also had an interest in archery, and his parents signed him up for that as well.

For his social life, as I have already said Allen was a bit reclusive. Though he was well liked at school, he rarely did anything with his friends outside of that. For that reason, it came as a surprise when he was invited on a camping trip, and when his parents found out they encouraged him to go.

Allen Riley

Allen had, actually, already woken up.

He had always been early riser - he had been dressed and out of his tent by seven-thirty, actually. Or at least he assumed that was the time. His watch was still working and he doubted it had magically slowed down or anything.

He sat at the edge of the campsite, away from the fire pit, at the base of a rather large oak tree. In his hand was a book, which he was reading intently. Of course, he had already read the thing twice before. But with his phone on it's last legs in terms of battery life and no one else already being up, it was one of his only means of entertainment.

And besides, it was an escape. As far as he was concerned, right now the world consisted entirely of what was going on in his book. Everything else was shut out.

He reached the end of a chapter, set the book down, and reached for his canteen. The container was brought to his lips, and he felt cool water wash down his slightly parched throat. Then he put that down and checked his watch. Nine o'clock. Wow, time flies.

No longer immersed in his book, Allen became aware of someone else who had woken up. He looked up and saw James. Dropping the book in his pack and returning the canteen to his pack, Allen stood up and stretched. Then, he walked over to the fire which was almost going out. James seemed to be the type of guy to take on a leadership role, or at the very least come up with a plan on what they needed to do. Allen liked to consider himself that kind of person as well.

"You know..." Allen began, as he approached James and sat down near him. "We really should be waking up earlier. It's already nine and most of us haven't even gotten out of bed. And once we all get up we'll have to think about what we're going to eat. When that's over and done with it'll probably be somewhere around ten - almost noon." He scratched his chin as he spoke.

"Anyways, any idea on what we're going to be doing today? Grab more supplies, maybe?"

Like anyone else in the camp, Allen harbored a deep concern and worry over what happened. Where were had everyone gone? What had happened? Were they dead, taken, evacuated? If they evacuated, then shouldn't they be leaving too? But he was never one to always show his true feelings, and instead decided to focus on more productive activities. Until they found some bodies, it was best to keep an optimistic view. Still, it was definitely weighing down on him.

Ashlyn was never a particularly early riser, but due to recent events, she frequently rose earlier than she used to. As such, she had already gotten up and dressed when she heard voices from outside of her tent. Taking care not to accidentally stumble into any of her tent-mates while they began to rise from their sleeping arrangements, she exited her tent and found two of the guys talking near the firepit which was now a sad memory of the roaring fire it had once been.

We should definitely work on getting up sooner. I suggest, also, that we start assigning roles to people. That way we can focus more on one or two tasks each, rather than all of us sort of working on everything,
” Ashlyn said, obviously having heard Allen’s thoughts. Needless to say, the hellish events of late bothered her, but she had never been one to give in to negative thoughts. That was a skill she picked up in her competitions, since nothing was going to improve if she just fell into a depression after every bad thing that happened.

Either way, I’m all for getting more supplies. The last thing we want is someone passing out from dehydration on the job!
” she joked, always having a rather dark sense of humor.
