Nah, I'm probably not in love but this new story is inspired by a song.
And there really isn't an exact reason for my application over there. I guess it's because it's unique =P...
In all seriousness it's possibly because of the quality and threshhold of it. Since, evidently, the application standards are notoriously high and the membership very exclusive. I love a challenge and is the most appealing thread because of the above reasons.

Yeah I've sene it, I thought that they seemed similar in requirements but both are obviously higher than The Novelist Guild. I would apply to that one later on but unfortunately it's closed for the time being.

Yeah, haha, those were good times when I give each applicant like a 5 posts review, whereas TIGA's reviews are shorter. It was mine, indeed, years ago.
(And how do you know the entries' standard are high? Don't tell me you've read through each one...)
I'm afraid it is all my doing that both guilds's review systems are temporarily closed. We are planning to combine the two guilds in the near future and it means The Unique Authors will be closed. Your entry will still get its feedback, but in terms of getting a place I'm not so sure, or whether it means anything in the end - if you know what I mean
We are planning to revitalize the story forum you see, and part of the effort is that hopeful reviewers should take my reviewing course and get better at writing/giving feedback. You can join us if you like
