And it's an interesting look at how far science has come; there really isn't an equivalent word, because it simply didn't exist. Interesting proof of it, I think, anyway.
And sorry folks, I didn't get anything typed up today. I have about 5-6 handwritten pages I'd like to get posted, but it looks like it'll have to wait a bit. There's an off chance it'll happen tomorrow, but don't get your hopes up. Then I have a wedding, so chances are you won't see anything 'til sometime next week. I apologize for the wait. :\

Heh, I swear I've used an almost exact copy of that excuse for not posting in the past.

Hey chuk :) i did a little research on the 'Doctor' problem haha. Anyways I thought maybe the word 'Druid' would work?

Something along those lines possibly?
I did look up druids on W*kipedia, and found that they were thought to have practiced healing magics, and since druids are a part of runescape, and practice herblore. I think you see where i'm going.
Just a suggestion. :)

A druid is much more mystic than what he's searching for, I think: druids have a serious connotation of being magical, with very strong ties to the earth. He wants something more like a doctor, or a physician: a man of medicine, not sorcery. The trouble is finding a person who fits that role in a mediaeval setting.
Anyway, I'll look at the adds sooner or later.
