*grumble* but...but I don't even know what to make. maybe someone who...(and here the thought process begins but not really because I already know 90% of the character concept and don't want to admit it)
OK FINE YOU CONVINCED ME I'LL TRY
I'll probably go down multiple routes that I never take: male and non-magical.
Except Angle will ban me from his threads forever if I make a male character...damn.
Make a male. Do it.
Everyone has the potential to be an asshat in a flower crown.
Being gender-fluid requires I have magic. I'll be honest, though, that was something I DID already have in mind.
Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

Ah, so the Dawnguard are profiting off of fear, then?
On a side note, there's one thing I didn't get about the final quest where you lay siege to the Vol**har castle...
Why can't you call in a bunch of other allies?
"Hey Balgruuf, I saved your city... wanna float me some troops?"
"Oi, Ulfric/Elisif, I ended your civil war... you have troops to spare, right?"
"Hey, Companions, you are werewolves and vampires are your natural en- oh wait, only the Circle are Werewolves. *Ahem* Hey, Companions, these vampires are a menace and we cannot allow them to prowl our lands."
"Hey, every companion who has ever promised to follow me... follow me!"
I mean the vampires
are
a threat to everyone, right?
If we're going down that route, why not just hire this "Astrid" person who keeps sending fodder after you to kill Harkon? It's not like 20,000g is hard to come by.
Oh, and as for the cure in Morthal... yeah, it may exist, but that doesn't mean you should jump from human to vampire like you change a sweater. Also vampirism seems to bring on a corruption that makes most people want to remain a vampire. Just read Alva's journal.

Then they will just be fodder to the vamps. A waste of money, when the groups I have already mentioned are indebted to you.
(I left out the Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild because they are criminal organizations that mainly seek to make a profit, and people at the College of Winterhold are supposed to be students... not soldiers.)

Lucky my dragonblood makes me immune to corruption and earthly compulsions. Like eating regular meals, drinking non-alcoholic beverages or going toilet.

Well, yeah, but they don't know that.
Also I guess they don't want you to be a bad example to the rest of the Dawnguard?
Also they have a zero tolerance standpoint towards vampires. The only reason they don't kill Serana is because you vouched for her, and you're the Dragonborn, and even then they still threaten to punish you if she turns on anyone. They probably don't even like that you're using vampire magic, even if it is only temporary.
