Actually, just a quick question Inferi: is it possible that Gary and Scarlet could have met at some point? He only spent about four years in Ground Forces, a good bit of that being training, so it's unlikely. But still, what do you think? Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.

So I mentioned that he was good with guns, hand to hand combat, and smooth talker, right?

Can I also say he is good at intimidation, driving, and basic first aid? Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.

Alright, point of clarification (against your own bio, no less); you said Gary was good with guns, hand to hand combat, and DRIVING.

If you'd like to add intimidation, basic first aid, and SMOOTH TALKING, go for it. I'd be willing to assume those are all skills Gary would either be naturally good at, or picked up in the military.

Yeah, that's why I thought they were necessary to add. He'd need charisma to settle disputes and defuse tense situations, he is both tall and strong enough that you wouldn't want to fight him, and I literally mentioned him learning first aid in his short history. Given that she's only been operating in the field for about a year, it's possible they might know who each other are but I doubt they know each other personally. If you want to have it be like that, I'm fine with it. He probably doesn't know that she's not human, though; that fact isn't broadly advertised, and most Ground Forces people at typical police level don't know her as anything all that special.

The real question is whether he'd want to work with her. It seems he's a bit more into using talking to settle stuff, whereas she has a reputation already for going guns blazing. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.
