EDIT: Lucky actually has a really mild temperament - I wanted him to lean more towards 'beware the nice ones'. This makes it really hard to just write a passive response while actually going anywhere meaningful.

Goggles can't blind people - and assuming that goggles amplify light, light will be more effective against anyone wearing them.

It's a simple solution our characters could reach on their own, and better yet, the odds of getting shot are... remote.

You mean you don't have to eat carrots if you were never a kid (for good eyesight)?


EDIT: Our other option is to use the humanoid android as a bullet shield. There are probably reserves.

If someone managed to get good eyesight from eating carrots, they can rot in a very special hell. I ate plenty of those damn things and my eyesight is absolute ****.
