Before anyone asks, or more likely doesn't, Gwen likely intentionally kept the gold to herself so she could sift through it later. Why would she do that, you might not ask? Because unless the gold was newly manufactured, it will have a history - and a memory Gwen can read.

Or maybe Gwen REALLY wanted an excuse not to pay Glenn.

I’m not sure if this fits in with your plans, Azi, so on the flip side the coins could be utterly irrelevant (see what I did there?). As it stands, I don’t think I alone can tell Gwen anything that could lead her to the archdemon while furthering her own vendetta.

EDIT: Chasers, did you want us to wait for GM centred posting orders on Department 37 or is it first in, first served? (Not saying that I want to post or anything!)

Oh sure, go ahead and butter me up with compliments. It's not like it makes me happy or anything.

And character interaction? Pssh, that's for people who aren't planning on making stupid decisions.

OK West, I'll leave Gwen at that then; the coins will remind her of something to accomplish her vendetta, she can continue with the main quest at a later time. Whenever an archdemon arises, it attracts the attention of all demons (including cambions) in a continent anyways, so she will get a mental heads-up from it anyways if all else cannot work. Moreover, I was planning multiple "stages" of fighting arch demons, to make defeating them more dynamic and difficult, forcing users to think of strong ways to dealing with them. Of course, I will control NPCs to deal with them as well.

I will be continuing the RP today soon, I hope.

Depends which archdemon. Ironwolf is loyal and chivalrous (chivalry, as in the modern image of it, not horsemanship), protecting the weak and fighting evil, Ironwolf viewing humans as evil and wanting to change the world. Amelia has not sworn fealty so she does not have to do anything for Ironwolf, and the procession has been interrupted anyways.

Nevertheless, Amelia's demon, Farren, the besieging forces, the Rejected Archdemon, and coming of Dwarfs and the other minor forces will get involved.

Well, even though she hasn't (and doesn't plan to) swear fealty, the fact that Ironwolf removed the demon spirit from her means she'll be part of the fight to protect Ironwolf. That's not something she's going to forget, especially since it happened even though she didn't swear anything during the process. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.
