Shhhhh. The grenade launcher was just to test whether the system was working or not.

The minigun was...ermmm...inadvisable. Please forward all complaints to the Department Supervisor.

I suppose a giant hammer or sword might have been a better option, but those don't have enough range to reliably deal with gun-toting opponents when you have no armor.

It's the first time in perhaps a few days that you've directly asked. Your indirect comments, such as: Annie1227 said :
I am excited to find out what happens next in as demons weeping.

are just as numerous and indicate the exact same thing as a direct question.

Don't "whatever" me. I'm serious, being honest, and trying to help you NOT MAKE PEOPLE PROCRASTINATE MORE.

Because if I had to post and I saw that over and over, it would make me wait, just because I hate being passive-aggressively told to do something, followed up by a direct comment that's just a bother because I didn't bother to respond to the first one.

I actually disagree with the above statement.

The best way to get people to post is by posting questions or interpretations about another characters situation or reactions. You'll find any active thread will have this going on behind the scenes, and any (soon to be) dead thread likely won't.

But, you know, that would involve effort. And a certain pot calling the kettle black.

This is one of the reasons why Azi's (and Angel's) threads are so damn popular (in my opinion). They have regular conversations about characters and settings to keep everyone interested and motivated, and people aren't there to be all passive aggressive about posting times so much as to be creative guideposts.

Throwing your sword always works.

Yeah, it probably would, especially since she could call it back to her. Hmm. I never thought of that.

And yes, I agree completely with your above statement. Posting on the thread itself is all good, but having OOC discussions about situations that have arisen are just as enjoyable to me. It's cool to talk about everything from an outside perspective, and it gives a different view on various aspects of both the situation and characters, as well as clarifies things sometimes.

Who needs clarifications when you can just roast/abridge everything! :P

It's all about the (lack of) comedy, man!

See the above two posts for case and point.

EDIT: That actually gives me an interesting idea for a *gasp* story competition. You know, take another persons character from a roleplay and "creatively" abridge their story. 'Cause that can only turn out well.

The only thing I can see going wrong is people believing they have as much creative ownership over their characters than 4kids thought they had over pokemon.
