Hmm... maybe I didn't make the undead horde large enough.

So far we can account for two thousand undead charging the city, and two to three hundred within the city. The city has maybe a thousand guardsmen, plus a few hundred militia and a few hundred professional soldiers.

Nah, I'm sure they'll be fine.

Anyways, I'll explain more about the city state culture and whatnot, but basically the further west you go, the more ****** everything is. Elves are regarded as savages and looked down upon, magic is feared and distrusted, and so on. Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.
