You don't have to make your posts bigger if you don't want to, but I feel users will have more enjoyment and fulfilment if they have a little storytelling going on their posts. But just do whatever you like however you want.

I'm doing alright, woke up earlier than usual, and the first thing I did after a shower was write Atatos' reply.

Yes, that example is much better, as you interact with the environment and give some backstory to your character, as well as her emotions regarding the situation. This really helps make the RP more dynamic and interactive, as the reader has more things to think about. OK, I'll start the next scenario for Annie soon.
