Because I decided I didn't like it. It was something I wouldn't have wanted to play as.

I've got another one almost entirely written up, but had put it on hold when you hadn't come back for a while. With the inability to extend the reserves I made with the first bio, I'll probably have to post the race description on here for you to look at. In case you're wondering, it's about seven posts long (I think). Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

Hey Az*garath,

First off, love your thread since it combines a number of elements I've always enjoyed seeing mixed. Particularly horror, apocalyptic, and sci-fi. If you're interested in manga at all, I'd suggest works by Nihei Ts*tomu. Very similar elements, albeit the plot of some of his works are nearly impossible to accurately decipher without multiple re-reads.

Since I'm on vacation for this following week I'll have time to actually participate I think. I'm an old role-player, so old I think I'm mostly rust now, so I hope I'll be able to post something half-way decent.

I do have a question.

Do you accept non-bios? If so, what additional information do you need? I'm guessing info regarding if the character can be killed, revived, etc.

And since you've said haven't RP'** much, and forgive me if you know this already, but a non-bio is the act of making a story-like post that usually contains some things about your character and their location without filing out a bio form. The writing skill of the poster is generally more easily assessed by a non-bio and some people (like me) have developed a kind of loathing when it comes to filing out bio forms unless absolutely necessary. Though a non-bio does generally lack details present in a the filled out bio, so I can understand if you'd rather prefer a tradition biography.

Oh, hey TwelveGage, I didn't expect such a thorough comment about my RP thread! I’ve never been interested in manga/anime but I suppose I should try someday, I tend to like complicated storylines. If you do plan on participating, that’d be pretty cool. But yeah, I’ve never role-played, so even if you’re rusty, I won’t mind, as long as activity gets going in this forum then I’m happy.

I don’t know what a non-bio is, but I’m glad you explained it. Yes, you are allowed to post such a thing, I do mention that anything in the prompt can be removed or more things added. I actually think I like this non-bio style more than a prompt-filling, so I will have to consider implementing that in my thread soon.

Thanks for the comments, they definitely helped. I work during weekends though, as an fyi.

Oh, and in case anyone's interested, themes in my RP thread are influenced by Clive Barker and John Carpenter. Clive Barker, Leonard Wibberley and Yves Meynard were my biggest influences in literature.
