I get the distinct impression that it's gonna be really hard to get Amelia to work with most of the cast. Apart from the fact that she's a loner, she's got essentially a second personality that tends to go on killing sprees when it feels like it. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

I'm not entirely sure. Most bar scenes I've seen (irl and in fiction) are usually interrupted by this point, or a character is just beaten black and blue to learn an aesop. Neither options were particularly comedic (in my opinion), so I decided that would be a good place to end the scene.

WESTENEV joined the fight! So ridiculously overpowered were they that people went flying left right and centre, all the while snagging JUGS OF ALE from the air and chugging them whole! WESTENEV made his way to the three gladiators, kicking them into a huge pit called the S&RCH, where they could STAY ON A BUS INDEFINITELY.

Having saved the day without a second thought, the totally not mary sue Westenev waved to the many inebriated Glenn's of the world, shooting through the roof towards the next awkward botched drinking party.

I personally cannot wait for the inevitable fight between the demonic shadow with anger issues, and the crazed assassin with nothing to lose!

West, I just imagine our characters meeting up, finding out eachother's names, and Gwen just having a mental breakdown: "My name's Glenn!" "AHHHHHHHHHHH!"

I got the distinct impression every character on this thread was a loner anti-hero to some degree.

Well, maybe Amelia can be a special character, who goes solo? We'll wait and see what happens, I just want more major characters to be involved when the Archdemon appears.
