In case you missed my edit Capt, the cardinal is a Templar (if this is OK with Emo). I do not want Darius to die, but I want to get some backstabbing-based conflict going on amidst the Holy See, Templars and Inquisition. It'll make things more chaotic and hopefully more interesting.

OK, so it's done. Basically, I would like politics in the RP to be complex, manipulative, backstabbing, dirty, and unfair, just like how it was back in the Middle Ages (and as Capt noticed). For example, during the Fifth Crusade,Turkish Muslims fought with crusaders against other Muslims, and then afterwards, the fighting between the Turks and crusaders continued.

Factions are not single-minded, they have individuals who have their own agenda. For example, some cardinals want to assassinate His Holiness with the hopes of taking his place. This will follow the theme of what is truly evil, who are the real demons, that kind of thing. So, users may also utilize the political struggles as well.

Basically, no-one's truly good, so watch out for backstabbers. Of course, some characters will be good and trustworthy.

Hooray for characters that don't care about politics...or maybe not, because they'll probably get involved whether they want to or not.

And backstabbing? Pssh, just get Amelia to promise that she'll help you and you'll be stuck with her help until the end of time.

OH, and before I forget yet again, ***, I just wanted to point out that Amelia had gotten aged physically to ten years old at the end of the ritual, so it would actually be 8 years from then until the present, not 13.

OK, thanks Inferi, I will edit my sentence about that.

Also, to those who are interested, I have four features to decree if characters are good or not. They can be evil, good, two-way, or uncertain. I have a .txt document with notes about that, so I am setting-up character types and their allegiances in advance. Hopefully, this won't be a bad thing, but basically, these kinds of characters, when under my RPing, will follow the categories they are under:

evil characters: usually evil in some way
Demons
Teutonic Knights
Cardinals

good characters: usually good in some way
Angels
Hospitallers
Luther
Graal Knights

two-way: these characters are politically manipulative
Holy See

uncertain: I'm unsure if they are evil or not, or vary upon individual
His Holiness
Templars
Demon God
Imps

I wouldn't say the Inquisition is evil, as they strive to do good. But I wouldn't say they are good, since they are advocating genocide against an entire species and those who help them. I also wouldn't say the Inquisition is two-way, since they aren't aiming to influence politics and instead do what they think is right.

Anyways, I was hoping for an alliance with the Holy See. Bloody cardinals!

Although I did mention that the Gothic King was influenced by the Inquisition, so I can see both groups fighting to gain his favor.

Ha! I kinda forgot about the king in that regard, as I didn't remember that the Gothic King was influenced by the Inquisition. I will try to note that somewhere. Due to the rather large-scale nature of the RP, I may forget important details once in a while, so be sure to give me reminders in case I forget about anything.

Oh, and the cardinal will eventually pass on what Darius said to His Holiness, but who knows how honest he will be. Perhaps, Darius should attempt to seek an audience with His Holiness in person?

****** post incoming

Although I doubt I need to clarify, I'm doing it anyways: she's not trying to run from them or anything. She's just hoping they get caught up with the food and don't chase her before she just vanishes in the distance.
