lol, whoops, it's too late, I already posted what I typed. Either it works, or I'll just not worry about role-playing, I think I'm not useful in it.

Seath from Dark Souls was indeed a bit easy to defeat, that is, excluding the first time you fight him. Spirry's been around since 2005, so I don't think I've had a direct inspiration from Seath, though it never crossed my mind that Seath indeed is a skinless dragon that commits genocide against his race. Well, I suppose the main difference is that Spirry is a demon who is obsessed about feeling and inflicting suffering instead of immortality, and not all reptiles have scales (synapsids don't have scales, for example).

Originally, Spirry was an immense intestine, fifty feet wide and five thousand miles long, with a giant human skull on top as well as a pair of arms beneath where the skull connects to the intestine, with an interior giant snake living within that could slither out the skull's jaws to attack people. Since 2009, I recreated him as a demon, as I thought he was a bit too gargantuan. I posted a story involving the original idea in 2007 I think but it quickly died. That kind of monster is now a series of various monsters in my stories here and elsewhere.

You can edit your post to say sorry ignore post and erase the last post. But when you get accepted you can post that last post. Just save it to your notepad or something on your computer.

There's really not an issue with posting the intro there. Apart from the fact that Angel is fairly laid-back and almost certainly doesn't mind, it isn't like you're really disrupting anything by having it there. Besides, the posts are already there, and it isn't like a few dashes in empty posts do anything more than good intro.

Honestly, Annie, editing posts isn't something you should just jump to as a first resort. Once you make a post, its better to keep it as is unless there's something seriously wrong with it, something I didn't see in his intro.

Yes, I kept the short story in a Word file.

I also prefer not to edit-out posts, but I figured I'd obey Annie and get rid of them as much as possible. I suppose empty posts still aren't any better than declined posts, but once the next page of posts comes, it won't be an issue.

Boo.

Being contrary is too mainstream.

Complaining about what's mainstream is too mainstream.

Also, you're just as much of a slave as the other mainstream followers. They go to it because it's mainstream, you avoid because it's mainstream. It's not about the quality of the idea or product, it's about where the product stands with other people. And here we reach one of the main and many problems that can be found within today's society - very few of us follow our hearts, and base our wants on the wants of other people. This is the mentality of sheep, which is ironic because in our quest to become more civilized and more advanced, we still maintain (or gain) animalistic, less developed behaviours. And don't get me started on issues like capitalism and communism - it's not about the system, it is about who is running the system, and we only support our system because we grew up with it. Very similar to how certain sport teams and brands our worshipped, or how some Americans praise the sh*t out of their country and act like it is superior in every way. But then again, the world's impression of Americans largely comes from tourists - most of whom aforementioned sheep who want what other people want instead of what they want, and are unable to tell the difference between the two. It is sad, really. We really need to get over these differences and issues, so that the human race can bond and become both closer and stronger. Once that happens, maybe we can pool our resources together and explore and expand across the galaxy, maybe even the universe - because our planet is dying but climate change is an issue for another day. But there is a problem even with this - all exploration does is make the world more boring. It saps out the mystery and leaves less room for the imagination. From this we may conclude that no matter what happens, things will never be optimal for the human race. Good day.
