Zamorak wants to cause chaos between the mortal races. The Godless just want all gods to GTFO so they can run things themselves.

Incorrect. The Godless may preach they merely wish to run their own societies, but they are led by genocidal maniacs who simply want to kill all gods. This is, of course, downplayed for laughs because they don't have a patron god - thus, Jagex doesn't seem to think we'll give them much support because they're essentially powerless. But given their pact with Vorago and the fact that the gods cannot do the simplest fetchquest by themselves any more, the godless may well have the resources required to kill a god (yes, I'm looking at you Zaros).

Call Zamorak what you will, but if you support a god, he's probably the lesser of the two evils. And if you're going to call Zamorak out on his betrayal, then you should think long and hard if you're a true Zarosian - Zaros heralds the strong, and at that moment, dirty tricks or not, Zamorak just happened to be stronger.

Not to mention how the Zamorak/Zaros ideology conflicts. Sure, they both want mortals to better themselves, but through different means, and Zamorak's means can be just as destructive as they are beneficial.

I don't see how they differ. Zamorak sounds the horn of rebellion, while Zaros controls his followers through charisma and a magical voice - that's about the extent of their differences. Both of them retained empires that served the strong and belittled the weak. If anything, Zamorak's creed may very well have been distorted over the years through controlled information by the Saradominists - to the point where the only Zamorokians today are so jumpy they're likely to attack you on sight.

Compared to Zaros, or just in general? If so, I don't see how you came to that conclusion. Zamorak will bring war and conflict, while Zaros will bring stability. He is a lot like Saradomin, only he doesn't throw tantrums, doesn't get all up in your face, and doesn't pretend he is some morally righteous benevolent deity who can do no wrong. Basically, Saradomin without all the flaws that make us hate Saradomin.

I wasn't necessarily calling Zamorak out, I was just pointing out that Zamorak thinks Zaros wants revenge, and will inevitably feel threatened by him and refuse to trust him. Therefore, Zamorak is a direct threat to Zaros.

Yes, but by now Zaros has realized that is the wrong way to go about things. Zamorak hasn't. Also, Zaros doesn't cast the weak aside - he tries to improve them. For example, he finds a race that is struggling with infertility. Instead of saying: "They can't adapt, therefore they are destined to die out. Natural selection and all that." Zaros decides: "You know what, I should probably fix that."

"The weak deserve to die so that the strong may flourish" is a quote taken directly from the Zamorak prayer book, which presumably comes from the same time as the God Wars.

So my internet cut off at my flat. Luckily I have all of my posts saved so I'll put them up as soon as I get back, which will be tomorrow. For now I'm stuck on a tablet so my writing capabilities are somewhat limited, but I'll try my best to converse.

I'm also thinking of posting a story idea I've had for a long time, as it doesn't actually require a tonne of writing from me so I can do it from my tablet, (although again, I have some entries saved on my laptop which I can't access at the moment)
