Inferi, you've got the right of Ryan's powers right now.

Oh good, thanks for telling me. Just to note, I won't do stuff like that too often since I'd prefer to wait for a prompt of some kind from the person controlling the character. That one just felt like it fit though (plus I needed something else to write...go figure).
Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

Thanks for the good intro West. I noticed that all intros so far deal with some kind of tragedy! I take it Gwen is somewhere at the docks of Pharaoh's lands? I would like a few more details regarding her location, and who Mr. Ackerman is, if you'd be so kind. Also, it's getting late, it's passed 11:00 PM where I live, so I won't be able to set-up a quest for Gwen soon. It'll wait for tomorrow.

Yes, she's presently in a dock town in the Pharaohs lands - most likely in the estate of the shipping company heir. I... probably should have been more descriptive in that regard.

I'm assuming there'd be some sort of prejudice against female warriors - so Gwen is presently telling people she's a man and going by her last name - "Mr. Ackerman". Given her boyish figure and relatively young age, dressing in this manor attracts less... unsavoury attention.

The next scene was supposed to be set nine years later (in the present), an attempt to skip life-changing events and to give her time to create her own "motive". She has only been in the desert for a week or two at most - and hates it.

Whatever happened to her mother or father, she doesn't know - maybe being faithful, even to a demon, will invoke the Gothic god's mercy. Even I don't know at this point, maybe it could be expanded on for character development somewhere down the line. Whatever the case maybe, I think it'll definitely be a touchy subject. Even after nine years, she's still trying to piece together what happened.

"master" I mentioned has been deliberately left vague - they could be practically anyone important, but I'm hoping whatever Gwen did to impress him worked. I figured I'd best leave who they were and what they wanted to you, so you could point "Mister Ackerman" towards the next quest.

OK, thanks for the clarifications. I will think about how to start her quest as I go to bed, and then I'll put it up tomorrow sometime, I hope. But yes, there would be some prejudice against women warriors in this continent, due to religious reasons. I don't think Ancient Egyptians had very many women warriors, so for them, it'd be quite unusual. However, fortunately, Pharaoh's People are open to sorcery and demonic things, so in that regard, Gwen should be ok. Not that anyone can easily notice Gwen is a cambion anyways, unless clothing covers an obvious mark.

Are there any rules regarding the use of other Roleplaying games that are out there to tell our stories?

Essentially, am I allowed to run a Pathfinder game here? If ya'll are interested, of course.
Cower, worship, or beg. All are valid choices.

I really look forward to the movie adaptation of this, where everyone keeps getting "Glenn" and "Gwen" confused; "Wait, so you're both named Gwen?" "Nono, he's Glenn, I'm Gwen" "Got it, Jen and Glenn." "GWEN!" "When what?"

I have been known to enjoy a bit of Pathfinder here and there, so I would not be opposed to the idea!
