OK, I'll attempt to make my third RP, hopefully it'll work this time. The demonic nature should be interesting. I should be able to get it up and running sometime alter today, but typing out everything will take a while.

In case anyone's missed it, I was planning on making a story involving cambions, who must embark on a quest to kill an archetypical evil being, which shall be Demon God. Doesn't get any more simpler and evil than that, hunh? The prospect of cambions having to kill their primogenitor, their ancestral forefather they all share, amidst an apocalyptic world, should be an interesting feature to explore.

(I'll be going outside very soon for about an hour, so that'll get in the way.)

Question: what power, without being regarded as OP, would be able to harm/defeat a slime creature? Take note, said slime creature does not really get hurt by blunt/sharp trauma, and can regenerate their mass easily. No part of their body is more important than any other part, so decapitation does nothing. It is immune to being frozen, extreme heat and acidic substances, plus cannot be gassed as it does not breathe. It subsists solely on drinking water, and needs no food, but can drink other liquids like blood as well.

And of course, it has human level intelligence.

Would an ability that imprisoned the target in earth or metal work, or would it be able to subsist on the water in the soil or air or tunnel out? How long does it take to starve without water, and could a water-ability user manipulate the water inside of the body ( NOT REMOVE IT )?

I guess those would be my first two choices. O_o

I think we are going about this all wrong. Let's say that Biotics can also manipulate non-brain related functions, like moisture. Technos can overcharge an incineration ability to power through that mucus, and Eveyone else who is not a biotic or a techno should have radiation rounds and explosives to destroy them slugs. Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy! =)

I think George said it would take about the same amount of time as a human to "starve" without water. As for manipulation, I would imagine that it would fall under the same category as removal since, realistically, manipulating the water in another creature's body is just as difficult of a task as simply removing it outright.

But yeah, the whole trapping scheme, assuming you can trap it in an area that has no connection to anything with moisture content, seems like a pretty reasonable one to me as well (as I think I said, although who knows with my wonderful lack of social abilities).
Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.
