You must be bored out of your mind right now haha.

Annie, have you tried writing on your own and seeing how well you do with that? It's a wonderful way to practice, and with it, you can get your daily writing practice in and you're not reliant on other writers attention to a forum. If you need a prompt, I'd check out Writing Excuses. My coworkers have judged me pretty harshly for listening to them while working, but I frankly don't care :P They have good advice and fun prompts to respond to.

And Angel, dear, I feel like I should tell you more about my character so you know what you're working with. Know that, as always, I like characters that are at the whims of the Thread Master so if you'd like to take Bug Man a particular direction, I invite you to steer him that way.

Ultimately, the Hive is two beings sharing a body, but one has control over the body and the other can influence the controller [henceforth referred to as
Control
and
Drive
].
Drive
was created with the mage's dying breath and carries his rage and bits of personality, although these are but shadows of the original.
Drive's
necessity to act but inability to do so spawned
Control
, which united the insects and ultimately has direct influence in the material realm. Once vengeance is completed,
Drive
will disperse, but
Control
will remain.

In theory, it may be possible for a new mage to replace
Drive
with a different
Drive
. If this happens, then
Control
will have to deal with this new
Drive
, but may be more resistant to its whims as it begins to form its own personality.

Ultimately, the decision is yours as to what you do with this information. I look forward to seeing what you do with it :)

I understand that entirely Annie. I personally struggle with solo-writing as I usually get frustrated with the fact that I can't set up a story properly. There's also the fact that I usually don't have time to because I need to know so many friggen chemical reactions that there's hardly any room in my head for creative writing.

But you, my dear, have a passion that I don't have. Just try to understand that many of the people here have lives they need to tend to before they can set aside time to roleplay, and sadly our schedules conflict so we all can't be here at the same time.

I'd again suggest trying solo writing, even little short stories are good practice. Just something to distract you while you wait for us people to finish our various jobs and studies for the day. It'll help in the long run, I promise.
