So my roommate was playing Skyrim in the living room while I sat with my back to him, and he started a conversation with a man about the execution in Solitude and without turning around, I quoted the guy's entire dialogue. Accent and all.

I think I have a problem. ._.

I love the guards' dialogue, except for "Now I remember - you're that new member of the Companions. So you what - fetch the mead?" Always ends in a dead guard.

If you reload the save afterwards it doesn't count.

Still, it does say something bad about all of us if we kill random guards for minor insults. "Excuse me you little ant? What did you say about me? SQUISH!"

It's even weirder when you gain like five levels in sneaking and guards start referring to you as sneak-thief, even if you're wearing a full suit of heavy armor. Or when a guard says they prefer to use one handed weapons when they have a massive hammer on their back. Or when they ask you to brew some ale because you studied alchemy.

Where are they getting this information? I'm starting to think they have some sort of hive mind. Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.
