pff, forget the Wild West, the Wild East was better. In Eastern Europe, especially in Poland and Ukraine, as late as post-WW2 (even up into the 1960s), insurgents fought on horseback with pistols, rifles and submachine guns.
Fun fact:
During WW2, Wladislaw Bronewski, a Polish soldier, rode in a wheelbarrow rolling down a hill while firing a machine gun.

No, But there are Dwarves, Elves, and Humans. Dwarves would be your merchants, Bankers, money lenders, The Elves would be the Indians that we as Americans slaughtered in great numbers to "Americanize" them; and the Humans are the most numerous populous who do pretty much anything for power. No magic, but guns, guns, and more guns. I will explain everything tonight in the Thread, as I have slaved the entire night on this RP. I think you might like it.

Nice. And ouch! Did he tip over?
Also I have to disagree with you there, because didn't those behind the Iron Curtain have Telephones? Whereas It took it took until around the late 1880's for the Telegraph to reach the far western towns.

after WW2, most of Poland was in ruins. Poland had much more damages than Japan despite Japan being hit by two nukes. But yeah, Eastern Europe would've had had phones, radio and telecommunications at least at some of the major cities.
As far as I know, Wlad didn't tip over in his wheelbarrow, but not impossible.

That may be true, but because the West didn't have the Telegraph until the 1880s in the far western states bordering Mexico, you would have had to go to the nearest military fort to get help, or go to a lawman who could have been corrupt. At least the major cities in Poland and the other cities behind the Iron curtain had a dependable police force that they could call upon rather easily. In the Wild West, things were not as easy. Individual towns were isolated from one another, with the exception of the weekly newspaper that arrived once per week on the weekends.
The other thing is that because individual towns were isolated, they could easily be attacked by a lone madman, whereas behind the Iron Curtain, individual towns could call upon another for help.
