Ah, I had no idea. I'll note that Vergas run on all fours. As for a charging hunchbacked foe, the best target would be the mouth or face, but the area between the head and shoulder has an artery, so if you stabbed through that, you'd quickly kill the enemy.
Ricassos can be either sharp or dull, it depends on the sword. They are left dull for structural strength, but also because, assuming the sword as distal taper, you are unlikely to strike with the bottom half of the blade anyways. However, some swords have specific taper, getting sharper towards the middle, then dull at the middle, then getting sharper towards the tip. I have practiced this method of throwing with swords sharpened their whole length and never cut myself. Edges only cut when they drag, after all. I also grabbed sharp blades barehanded and had someone else pull on the dagger without slicing my hand open.
