The Warpsword, like Malus, are based on their Warhammer equivalents, sort of. The Warpsword is a weapon always warm to the touch, somehow absorbs the blood of its victims, possesses sentiency allowing it to be wielded with greater efficiency and the ability to detect enemies whilst also driving the wielder into a bloody frenzy, and is an extremely ancient weapon, possibly hundreds of thousands of years.
Malus could be a hired blade, seeing as he hates everything about his family history and Vampires, needing an excuse to continue his hatred. Since he's based mostly on Malus Darkblade of Warhammer (I just changed his last name into Latin), he wouldn't view humans with much positivity, but since he hates Vampires a lot, and craves violence even against overwhelmingly bad odds, he can still be directed against what he hates.
I'll think of something like that, seeing as we're not tied down strictly to Warhammer lore and the bio's lore already mentions the unworthy are eventually assassinated. I can adjust Urial's fate accordingly, I just need time. I'll try to accomplish this tonight.
Basically, the intent of Malus (and originally Wulfrik) was to hasten the roleplay, as we've been grinding quite a bit and not really getting anywhere. By having a very formidable, powerful force, the main antagonists are kinda forced to react, allowing us to progress better. It also makes the roleplay more interesting, as having characters who are diverse and unique helps expand possibilities.
