She also has her curved dagger like knife and her magical ability.

And she might be able to out run a horse if it is walking. Or is very old. They were over exaggerating an elf's speed

Pretty much anyone can do that

Edit: I think Darius and Cain will but heads a lot. Problem is that Darius is Cain's superior, so it won't end well for him. Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.

To different ideas of training a squire. Cain likes to treat everyone the same. He rather be running with the squires then walking. If he wasn't all armored up he would run.

and there is nothing wrong with arguing as long as they don't come to blows it will be fine.
