As an update, past week was very busy, especially with pre-mortgage emails and paperwork, then driving around looking at homes. Three hours to Burns Lake is another three hours back to Prince George, and for some reason people have drastically overpriced homes. One nice, small hobby ranch-like property is worth around seventy grand and the owners are selling it for two hundred and fifty thousand, and are confused as to why nobody wants it -.-

There was a beautiful property with acreage at Longwerth, a well-maintained log house with a full concrete foundation and big basement, property also had a pond and a creek but those are signs of wet soil. Moreover, there's lots of snow and the property is down the valley of mountains, so that means tonnes of melting water, and then the house was built atop semi-boggy ground for whatever reason. So, a log house atop a concrete foundation means a lot of extra weight, then there's warming weather so that means even more melting snow, and the basement sometimes floods and the electrical furnace--for whatever reason--was installed directly on the floor in an area that sometimes floods. Beautiful property but I wouldn't be surprised if it sunk deeper into the wet ground which encouraged more flooding.

I'm quite exhausted still, will drive towards work at three in the morning to reach Burns Lake to do my next two weeks of work and possible one extra week of overtime. Whenever off-shift, I will try to roleplay but I'll need a few days or so.

I've just read the latest RP thread.

Honestly? The lab doesn't really sound so bad, apart from the "break the rules and our army of androids will beat you senseless in our research facility". I mean, given that the cast are probably kids, hyping them up with propaganda like "we're training you so you can better integrate into society" would even get most of the kids on the labs side.

In short, unfire the lab's human resource department.

Unless... is the goal of the lab to create a gifted uprising or something?

I haven't read the thread yet. I'm not into gifted super-powery gifted type stories. But I'd imagine kids would lap up any government propaganda, especially if they are isolated from society in some secret government facility. Kids are like blank slates, you can imprint whatever habits you like on them, savory or not.


I've been a bit on what Sakura could be doing for the resistance members. Perhaps she trains recruits a bit. Given her samurai experience, she'd be a hell of an instructor for someone like Subaki, who's lost his teacher. Perhaps Sakura spends a few hours instructing him. I could play role play Subaki. It's an idea. During the course of the RP session, perhaps Sakura gets a lead on where to find a horse, since she's a skilled horse rider, she could also use a bow. (Unless I already gave her one).

What do you think, Azi. I know you are busy right now, so you get what you need to get done, done. Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy! =)

Tired. I was woken up at 5:00 this morning by the need for water. I have not been able to sleep since. I also don't think it's a good idea to fall asleep yet. I just want some good shut-eye. Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy! =)

Well, if you want Sakura to be a teacher, I'm OK with that, though considering how unJapanese Subaki is, it would be awkward. It'd be better, tho, if Sakura taught many subcharacters and Annie and Subaki at the same time, that'd be a more efficient means. Otherwise, it'd feel like me lecturing you which isn't RPing.
Yes, Sakura already acquired a bow, too.
I don't know where Sakura would find a horse, seeing as if she well beyond her home.

Oh, and I found out that samurai children (including girls) trained with wooden swords until six years of age, after that they went with real weapons.
