Pretty difficult for the U.S to declare martial law, Last time we did it was during the Civil War, I think. There are laws dictating specifically when martial law can be declared. Martial law works differently here in the States, it's super limited. Last time I think it was used was after Hurricane Katrina. However in 2007 the National Defence Act was Signed by Bush which allows the president to declare martial law for things like riots. I still think we're not at that point where martial law is required. Would be nice to see The Proud Boys be declared enemy combatants and sent to Gitmo tho. :)

Writing block sucks. I'm past mine. The post I'm writing might as well be a chapter in a novel. It is really long. While I write it, Annie, you and I could to in Vampyro. I have a few ideas. =)

All your points and history points are spot on. I am concerned Trump could proclaim an amber alert to entice his cultists to go crazy. They've already stormed Capitol with guns, their popular site advocates mass murder, and I can only imagine what will happen next.

Oh, and I forgot to say, but I am saddened that a woman was shot and killed there. How many more innocent people have to suffer and die because of hatred? I'm losing hope, I don't recognize America anymore.

When there are two sets of opinions on the same facts, everything goes to shit. People underestimate the power of words, and the media controls public discourse. I was told by a Trump supporting friend to "expect a emergency broadcast from the president, so it could happen. That said Security around DC will be ramped up. And I think there won't be any tolerance for rioting this time around the Congressional building. I'm concerned that these fuck heads are going to get a martyr to rally behind. I guarantee that they will use her as a martyr. "Justice for Ashli Babbitt" they will cry. Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy! =)

It's ironic that Blue Lives Matter were predominantly Trump supporters and now they hate the police. I've always warned my dad and older brother that republican-minded people are in it for themselves. But ya, I wouldn't be surprised if she would be viewed as a martyr, but she is a woman so maybe not, republicans tend to dislike women. I find it ironic that Trump supporters also hate Fox News, Pence and the Republican Party now, it shows you how much of a cult it really is. For them, the absolute reverence and obedience to Trump is all that matters, not even reality or human life matters. I have never seen bigger asskissers than Trumpists. I miss the days when Americans weren't sycophants.

I wouldn't say Republicans dislike women. I think they are just anti abortion, and shit, and they have that right, except it's a woman's choice to do what she wants with her body. If she wants to be a slut, she can be one. A fetus is not a person. It is a possibility. :) Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy! =)

I'd say the people who really hate women are incels. There are online forums full of them, and they post their fantasies if r*ping them on them. Incels are super dangerous. That said, I do get your point. Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy! =)

The right argue that abortion is murder, that you're extinguishing a helpless life before they have the right to grow.


It's a reasonably difficult ethics debate, I think. There are plenty of respectable men and women who hold opinions on both sides of the spectrum, and many more somewhere in-between. There's no need for name-calling.
