Don't worry, my vampire/werewolf RP won't be like that at all. It's more about survival in a harsh world where you have to basically steal, fight, forage used battlefields and ruins, do whatever you can just to survive. And in the case of being a vampire or werewolf, you get chances to increase your powers through many trials, climb your way up the food chain, even challenge the don of your family to take their place.
I'm still writing in bits, but the world is in a state of financial turmoil where the humans are struggling desperately to get by. And the mafioso who had in the past warred with each other frequently, have become aware of a great danger to the world which had taken root after strange beings calling themselves Nannies appeared and took the world for themselves, and called a ceasefire...for now. But even then their cooperation is shaky at best, and is especially strained between vampires and werewolves, who have a very long history of bad blood and fierce rivalry since way before they organised themselves into families.
There are light creatures such as rabbits, unicorns, fairies and various other fantastical creatures who affiliate themselves with good and peace. But rumour has it that since the Nannies appeared, something within the beings of light had changed, somehow. These creatures used to be hunted by the mafia to immunise themselves against exorcisms which have been used against them by the humans, but now most can't be touched.
As for the Nannies, nobody really knows what they are, where they came from or what powers they possess. But history tells that they stopped the wars that ravaged the planet and formed a government of sorts. They preach peace, love, all virtues of all kinds, and you can side with them for safety...but nobody really knows their agenda. This means that by taking their side you may be throwing caution to the wind. Prepare for hell on RuneScape in Naval Cataclysm!
