Honestly, my main issue with that thing was the fact that conflict was introduced and then instantly resolved. No other characters even had a chance to react to it or really do anything at all.

Anyways, I have begun the arduous process of downloaded Dragon Age Origins off the Xbox Marketplace. It cost $3.75 and takes up 6.5 GB of space. After three hours I am halfway done.

Also I'm thinking another Arena-like thread might be in order. One that is set in a fictional nation similar to Rome. No magic, no guns, just pure gladiatoral combat.

So since nobody paid attention to my 'The Dark' roleplay, I've got something else in mind.

As people probably expect, it involves modern day superpowers. Although instead of receiving said powers due to random divine intervention or whatever, they are the result of a murderous parasite that is growing inside of your brain. A parasite which wants nothing more than to kill every living person around you, ESPECIALLY others who have one of these parasites in their brain.

Of course, the parasite can't actually do anything but talk to you in your dreams. Until it can, because our poor Incubator characters are now on a time limit. When the parasite has grown stronger enough, it will manifest, taking control over your body and mutating into something eldritch and horrific, then go on a violent rampage. These manifestations happen at intervals, lasting different periods of time each, until the parasite can fully remove you and take over permanently. On the bright side, after each manifestation your abilities grow stronger... On the not so bright side, the manifested parasite has all of your knowledge and powers.

I'm sure I can serve up a workable plot based around that. Thoughts, everyone?

As a suggestion - Rather than a set period of time, why doesn't the worm simply grow as a character uses their power? That way it could become a legitimate super powered evil side, and the character would have nobody to blame but themselves... also meaning we could have "sane" protagonists. Once people "overuse" their ability, they would become eldritch abominations.

... Though, I guess having everyone (not) deal with various levels of insanity could be fun too.

I'd probably join this either way (Though there is no guarantee I'll ever post)

So, I just tried to make a Dragon Age account thing. Turns out, my email address is already in use.

But it is MY email, and I have no others. So is it ethical for me to have the ******** and whatnot on that account changed by saying I forgot, because I have the power to do that? It might ***** over whoever used that email address, but again, it is MY email.

On Into the Fire, The Road North,

Thanks for clarifications Angel, I recall “giving up* ownership of the off-shoot of your Ogres, but then I basically recommissioned that ownership unto myself. I suppose I'm still ignorant of a few more things here and there, but I'm glad you cleared-up things.

Honestly, I planned to unfold the setting into action, but since very few people were posting about that, I thought no-one was interested in any combat on The Road North, or simply hoping it'd waddle away soon. I can make a simple edit, simply making Spirry not leave, and then allowing Angel and others to add to the current situation.

If anyone's interested in action amidst the six Ogres, the demon, and the adventurers, I have no problem with basic editing, so long as Angel and you would like to see that.
