Anyways, from now on, whenever I talk about anime, I'm gonna call Westenev Princess Kiki and I must be referred to as Princess C.C.
P-please don't. I've never even watched kiki's delivery service.
That said, it might be cheaper to stream these series, the problem is finding who has the licensing rights. Usually it's Funimation, Crunchyroll or Netflix... but amazon prime likes to buy a good series every now and then.

Hopefully, I can start watching the animes I said I would because it's been half a year since then and I clearly am not keeping my word >.< Gotta buy Orphen, check out Castlevania, and Code Geass. Hopefully, I can do so before the end of this year.
If you haven’t already, check out Cowboy Bebop as well. I’m not much of an anime guy but it’s one of my favorite shows, and pretty well regarded as essential viewing if you’re going to get into it.
It’s on Hulu in the US, probably Amazon and crunchyroll elsewhere.
Cowboy bebop is a bit too dated for my liking, but people say it's a great anime, so there's that. I hear they're doing a live action adaptation, but considering the press releases tend to be centered about characters being defined "nonbinary", I'm pretty sure modern politics will ruin the show.
That said, if you're heavily invested in watching sorcerer stabber orphen, you probably don't care for modern graphics. The 1999 series got a 2020 reboot, but I hear reception was frosty.
I'm pretty sure Netflix did something with castlevania, meaning you can expect heavy use of cgi. Though I'm not sure if it's a reboot, a continuation or another story entirely.

Two of the characters' ambiguous or undefined gender identities informed both major and minor plot points of the original anime. If that didn't ruin the show in 1998 I think it will be fine now, personally.
I think the new show is going to be good, if the casting is any indication - although it seems only one of those two characters have been cast thus far.
Uninformed genders aren't the problem, it's the media hype that bothers me. Being praised for being woke is almost the same as saying "nobody will care about this show after the pilot airs".

Not to jump on you over this, but characters have been defined as binary for years without any media comment, and just because a political stance is treated as the default for years doesn't make it apolitical. It's sort of like how including a gay couple in a show isn't actually any more political than including a straight couple, or how South Park saying "both sides are bad" isn't actually any less political than just picking a side.
As for the media coverage somehow ruining the show itself... I mean, it sounds like Cowboy Bebop always had a nonbinary character and just never had the language to refer to them as such, so the media coverage is more reflective of the fact that it's finally been spelled out for people. At this time, there's no reason to suspect another Disney Big Gay Moment. It's also fairly newsworthy, since
any
trans inclusion in TV shows is still insanely rare, so I don't think it's weird to report on it. I think the biggest rep nonbinary people are getting is still, like, shapeshifting aliens and stuff, unfortunately.
I haven't watched this show, though I've heard some really good things. If there's anything to complain about here, I'd think it would be them making a live-action remake of a perfectly well-regarded animated series at all. Personally, I can't wait for an animated remake of a live-action series to come out.

Where do you see media hype? A google search for "cowboy bebop non binary" will return articles like "Cowboy Bebop Casts Non Binary Actor" (some being disingenuous by implying the character wasn't written that way) and hundreds of mad nerds screaming in the comments. I think people blow this kind of stuff out of proportion - not saying you're doing this, personally - and then the social media echo chamber turns it into way more than it actually is. People love to get mad, after all.
Netflix does have a poor track record for adaptations, but the original writer of Cowboy Bebop is serving as a consultant, so if fans are going to be mad - myself included - they can be mad at him.
