Thanks for clearing that up with me, Azi. A point to make though. I know George talked with you about it earlier, but you seem to make a lot of psychopathic characters. It can be hard for a group of good guys (by the way, the terms 'good guys' and 'bad guys" are a black and white perception of reality) to accept a demented companion in their ranks. For example Say that Vyras has a quest to escort a citizen a city over, but his back is in too much pain to do it, and so he passes it on to another RPer's character, like Annie.

Chances are that Vyras would not give you the opportunity to escort someone unless he had no choice. I certainly wouldn't give Sakura an opportunity to escort someone in her current state of mind. what if she murders the citizen on the trip to the next city. Psychopathic killers such as Sakura usually end up as oddballs in a group of heroes. If it were a group of villains, it would make more sense for a psychopathic killer to be among them.

Consider Barda for example. Barda is an unchivalrous son of a bitch who murdered the head of his order out of spite (probably with poison) Yet somehow, remorse has found him. A lot of your characters seem to lack redeeming traits. Barda on the other hand, as will be apparent later on in Vigil seems to want the right thing. He may be an unchivalrous poisoner and his methods unorthodox for a knight, but he will not turn down someone who needs help.

Sakura on the other hand just seems like a cold relentless killer. Does Sakura have any redeeming characteristics? Vyras is also a bit psychopathic, because only sociopaths use necromancy. Vyras however as will be apparent later on refuses to channel his knowledge of his art to becoming a lich, or extending his lifespan. He justifies what is a right and wrong way to use his necromantic arts. He will never send his undead warriors to accost a helpless civilian. It is why the resistance tolerates him. I have no idea why, Azi. But when I first read your bio. Certain details just never registered. Yeah. Sakura's mother, her intentions were justified, but making a little girl strangle puppies is demented. Executing criminals perhaps understandable, but having a little kid execute criminals is brutal. There is a certain story in the Book of Judges in the bible (BTW I am not a Christian, and actually distrust them quite a bit). in which the son of a Israelite king executes a Philistine general. (Something like that).

Long story short there was a documentary series on the History Channel back when they showed actual history stuff, instead of shitty reality TV (What has happened to America? ) Anyway what it told me was that children cannot wield swords effectively, so having a kid kill a Philistine general was way more painful than it ought to have been, on account of the boy not hitting the mark he needed to hit in order to have a clean decapitation. I think the boy was the son of Gideon. It's been a while since I saw it, and I don't care to read my bible unless I am sparring with homophobic, or transphobic trolls online. (It's a hobby of mine ^-^)

It was also humiliating. Any time a soldier was executed by a kid in ancient Israel, it was meant as a mark of shame for dastardly deeds, as the show told, so that this event made it into the Book of Judges drive home the point that children are evil. Hence why killable child mods exist in Skyrim!

Yeah. It's no wonder Sakura ended up the way she was. I think I got lost somewhere in comprehending the fact that Sakura was disobeying her mother from time to time, and her mother would set her straight. The Japanese terms also confused me. =/ Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!

New post for Vyrl, Sakura, and Erik are coming up. Sorry Annie, but there's not going to be a post for you until next week. I need to get everyone up to speed. Since you are going to be doing security guard training, Azi I think I'm going to godmod your characters out of the dungeon and keep them in character so that when you get back, we can all be out of the dungeon. I started this RP in October and we've been in the dungeon for three months. I hope you don't hold it against me.

Good riddance to Sven... And I handled that duel scene horribly! I must confess, that I just started doing master plans for your characters, so that's why the style of writing is different for Vyrl's post. Because I planned it out in advance. Had I done this from the beginning without adding weird cartoonish schenanegans to the story, the RP would be a lot cleaner.
