Anyways, I passed my Class 1 practical exam, but only barely. I am now a certified trucker/operator, so yay! Sent out some emails regarding employment inquiries, awaiting replies. Will be handing out resumes tomorrow and then driving down to Vanderhoof, see what happens, will try to get employed as a rock truck operator or something, or working for bulk transportation, if possible. I also recall an opportunity in forklifting to load into truck trailers at Interior Warehousing. Hopefully, I'll finally be back to work sooner or later!

Well, the new Star Wars film, The Mandalorian, looks really cool! I was surprised to find IG-88 in the trailer, I thought he got canned by Dash Rendar long ago on Ord Mantell. Back then, IG-88 was a rival of Boba Fett, and it can be seen in Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back briefly.

I'd love a RP where we are bounty hunters, of any genre, would be cool.

I am still unemployed. I passed my Class 1 practical exam on my first go, which was pretty cool, but finding a job as a trucker isn't going well. Still, am excited to become a full time trucker! Trucking is an excellent-paying job in British Columbia, and if I am lucky enough to snatch a good company, I'll be set for life.

If RPing cannot be resurrected here, well, I'll have no choice but to return to working on my novels eventually.

Good job, Azi! But remember to keep at it; the longer you wait, the harder it is to get employed! Well, I mean, I would assume.

I've been kinda cooking up this dark fantasy mercenary RP idea for awhile, but the problem is trying to condense the concept into something simple (ie. No elaborate snowflake magic system). I know most people on this forum draw different inspirations, some of which I dislike, so it's difficult to guage whether it's worth penning. Moreso since nobody is posting!

Oh, and I have been lurking. Sorry for not saying hi!

Thanks for the encouragement, West! Tomorrow, I'll go for another round of job hunting, hopefully I'll catch one! I've been unemployed for over four hundred days thus far, just parasitizing off government monies like the snivelling little gremlin I am, but when I become an employed trucker, things shall change!

Yeah, it's hard to get an idea, tighten it, and then make it so that everyone likes it. As we all know, I've struggled in doing just that. But it was fun.

Ha, I've also been lurking, but frequenting less often. Seems like RPing for all of us is just about kaput. But it's still nice to pop by once in a while to say hi.

Every now and again I'll get an idea and then think to myself, damn, that would make a pretty good roleplaying thread. Then I remember with disappointment that this place is pretty much totally dead. I suppose I'll just keep collecting those ideas and using them for short stories.

Similarly, I reuse unused ideas from my RPs in my novels, in a slightly different form. Speaking of RPing, I have just realized something: all my RPs were plot-driven, even characters backstories, although based on the character, were added to the plot. Perhaps, what we needed, was a character-driven RP? Too bad I never thought of that sooner. Oh well.
