Annie I really don't understand the Thought that your character had about "Told you so" .. Aranel admitted that the guards were after herself and Annie but that they aren't in danger. So Its not really a told you so cause she admitted it. She just said they weren't fugitives. - because fugitives are people who have done something wrong.
There isn't one.

Characters can be captured for a variety of reasons:
- intentional. ie: they are trying to infiltrate a location and they think this is the "best" way in ... or ... they just want a challenge or think it'll be fun (like when Vegeta let himself and Nappa be captured on the bug planet during Dragon Ball Z while en route to Earth.)

- the character was taken by surprise. it does happen. they were drugged. they were hit by a tazer. they were hit by a curse spell. they just got hit in a nerve cluster at the right time. whatever the reason, no matter how powerful you might be, there are opportunities to take someone down.

- the plot demands it. doesn't matter if you're still in chapter 1 or chapter 2 of the story and you grinded out max levels, if the script or cutscene demands it ... you're going to be taken prisoner. It doesn't matter if you could realistically punch your way thru solid granite or shoot a spell that would level mountains, once you're in the jail cell, the game code won't allow you out via any other method than what the game designers coded/wrote.

Sometimes, it's best to just leave things blank, DK, that way, the other user can fill-in the blanks. After all, we're working on the story together, plus we can do a bit of backtracking over the course of a few turns anyways.

Anyways, I got carried away working on my novel and completely forgot about RPing. Even though it's past 1 AM, I got a tiny post for Two-two, though, since she scuttled off for beer, I was unable to add anything to anything, really, unfortunately. Tomorrow, I will try to start the day with RPing first after I phone my psychiatrist to setup our next appointment.

Presumably, we wait to see what Sir Varze has to say to the dwarves, finish some more repairs, then timeskip towards Draynor?
