Hm, when I get into British Columbian logging trucking, I'll be working fourteen hour days, five days a week, every week. Should I be worried? 0.o On the bright side, I'll be making two hundred fifty dollars per load, each take four to six hours, so on a perfect day, I can make three loads and make 750 dollars. I just gotta not drive off a cliff and kill myself like so many truckers up here XD
Oh, and my older brother told me an interesting story. Some truckers are over seventy and retired, yet still work as full-time truckers. They do this by owning their own semi and trailer and rigging/etc, and being paid in cash per load, plus the log book being a book of lies (common up here in northern British Columbia).
Imagine getting all the benefits of pension, plus working full-time for cash! Too bad they can barely walk. Is sacrificing health and body for money really worth it?
