Lots of echoing going on around here!
In other news, I got my MRI scan for my brain last night, hopefully, results won't be bad.
In according news, it seems Impurity died, which is a bit disappointing, I worked so hard on it. But oh well, w/e, it's a done chapter. I just got a new idea, though, one that is unlike most RPs that have been here.
Instead of wild adventures, epic battles, big monsters, brutal fights, and horrific magic, maybe it's time to take some steps back. The themes of childhood and innocence have always been alluring. Was thinking about a roleplay about abused, crazy, creepy children. It'll go something like this:
Users are children who end up in an orphanage somehow, probably via tragedy or misuse of one’s sorcery or power. We become friends, and rely on each other to outlast or deal with bullies, supervisors, doctors, and dickweeds in general. We must survive the abusive orphanage, and try to escape. After that, some freedom, but then an occult mental institution, and finally, working together to defeat the evil, which turns out to be much closer than anyone could have realized.
Or indeed, maybe it’s time to just stop, and move on. Spending more spare time on my novel, and being a critique partner for more people, would be nice, but I am still okay with sacrificing that for this community.
