Although from a horror game, this humming is actually quite beautiful and soothing. Stumbled upon this by accident. I just bought the game on Steam. That is, I bought it with the SAW package, which was 20% off, so I saved a few bucks that way. I hope I get to be the killer!

If you have to ask if it's dark enough, it's probably not dark enough.

Anyways, since I'm going to be making a Dishonoured character, I am legally obligated to out-dark you.

Your bio's good, West, it fits perfectly, and you incorporate story and a goal. We can definitely work with it.

As a heads-up, I did not mean to sound like users had to have a character with dark themes. Users can role-play as anything they feel, or anything they want, that's why I tried to only have default classes that seemed worthwhile or interesting to role-play as.

OK, Fishing, we'll wait for you to post your own Dishonoured before I intro the RP! It should be great. Since my cable-based internet download speed is around only three hundred KB/s, Dead by Daylight is installing slowly, but after, I will install Dishonoured 1 and get a better idea of that franchise I know little of.

.....and I just realized I completely forgot about adding a military class of some sort XD Oh well, I suppose we can assume that, since the World Wars never happened yet in this dieselpunk world, military was limited to colonial guarding, anti-terrorist patrols, raiding, and spec ops or black ops. Might have to mention this somewhere, if I can.

To be fair, in your setting I imagine England, America and Russia would be having frequent skirmishes in the middle east. I mean, where else would they get large amounts of foreign oil needed to power the technology?

I mean, from what I can tell, the place has been a powder keg coveted by world powers for centuries.

Makes sense, West, for sure. We can definitely imagine something like the Scramble for Africa and The Great Game continuing for resource extraction, too. Or, indeed, global trade via corporate powers may be present, too, with mercenary/private security forces, or in veterans or soldiers or mafia hired for protection or extortion. Or both, they are not mutually exclusive, politics tend to be cutthroat and opportunistic.

Indeed, many of the greatest conquerors in history waged war in the Holy Lands.

Anyways, I added a short section after Major Factions. It briefly explains militaries and has two pics, that should be good enough.

In all seriousness, it did have one interesting element to it. If we were sent to the iron age with a self recharging cellphone that can connect to the modern internet and signal towers, how much could we do with it?

Personally, I imagine google would fail me.
