West, of Bioshock,
It's a great franchise, you can get it rather cheap on Steam. Although the games are a bit old by now, they're worth playing. Also read rumors that a Bioshock 4 is in the works, which is really cool. The reason I want to implement Bioshock Plasmids/Vigors is because they already fit a dieselpunk environment, so rather appropriate, I think.
I typically avoid steam games, mainly because I have a toaster for a computer.
I prefer consoles myself, though this does tend to backfire in RPG games like Dragon Age: Inquisition, where the writing is so tiny on a TV that I often can't make it out.
So, Plasmids are like drugs that give you superpowers? Or superpowers that are activated by drugs?
Actually, that might be the key to a character I've been thinking about for awhile!
of Plasmids/Vigors,
Yes, they are like drugs that give you superpowers. They add genetic information that grows like a benign cancer, the metamorphosis adding new functions and genes that enable various superpowers.
