But at this stage, seems more like an intro to politics than religion.

I'm going to finish the thread either tonight or tomorrow. But you guys should have everything you need to work on your bios. All that's left for the thread is a history section.

If anyone wants more information on any of the races, nations, or religions, just ask. What's written in the thread is just a basic introduction, and I didn't want to get too detailed for a single race or nation when someone might not even make a character who comes from there. So, lets talk about the church and magic. If the legal "Adult" age of humans is 16, Is this the same age they're given the choice to join the priesthood? how long would it take for someone to get initiated and taught the basics of tranquil magic? Would they be taught through one-on-one apprenticeships, or would they be taught in classes? Or would they be left to study on their own?

(Yes, I want to make a white mage with a mission from the gods )

So far, I finished four bios for your RP, Fishing. Unlike my other bios everywhere else, these bios have much more story and depth. I think they are my best bios ever.

Um, no, not really. New York's time zone is quite different. However, maybe you flew over to the west coast for some reason? If so, then yes, you'd be in my time zone. I will post in Omega and the RPs here this weekend, too.



ANyways, for any who may care, I just came back home, was drinking beer and Irish whiskey. Humorously enough, I kept thinking I was drinking rum, but no, I was drinking Irish whiskey XD yup, I was rather drunk. Was a bit disturbed by my older brother and his two friends' chatting; drunk guys have really, really dirty talking. But that's guys.

Still, I suppose that's what true friends are. :P You can discuss anything, and nobody will get offended. You take this to the logical extreme, and you do end up with some really weird conversations that would sound REALLY bad out of context.

Yes. Provided they have demonstrated that they have shown they can exercise restraint when it comes to using what they've learned already.

Classes. One-on-one apprenticeships are for more advanced stuff.

So tranquil school is basically high school for chaste teenagers? Sounds cheery. Are there similar places to learn such magic outside of the priesthoods, or do they have a monopoly on quality white magic education?

Are priests and priestess's really expected to be chaste? I mean, I can't imagine this would go down well in Greenhaven – if mages are known to be bred through lineage, the church is pretty much culling off genetic potential. This leads me to ask, does the church have much power, people, or resources outside of Talendria?
