If this ability is a trait, I am more likely to consider it occurring successfully. That's what Perks are for, basically, limit the power of the GM.

I am rather exhausted. Spent several hours building a crude platform for the air conditioner to sit on. I built it from scratch, but it works. High heat basically saps all my strength and energy. I will try to post sometime early this week, as first, I must work on the next chapter of A Dream, my BioShock fanfic.
