Oh, and I finished my first week at my new job. After three days, I gut full-time work. I find it odd that working my previous job for six years didn't get me out of part-time, and three days of work here got me into production -.- Now, I no longer do hard labour, as that's over anyways, now I work with thatch timber-thingies, remove the bad ones, stack the good ones, and staple tarp over the stacks. It's a small mill, so the work's easy-going and simple. I am glad.

Yes, best job I ever had. It's not hard or laborious, and the spot I work at has an opening that goes outside, so there's at least some fresh air. In all my previous jobs, I had to work indoors in the big mills, and you always inhale dust, sawdust, chemicals, and who knows what else (no wonder people die of cancer all the time in British Columbia!). This mill is much cleaner, and the people are much better, too. I only get paid fourteen dollars an hour, but I like the job, I like working with cut timbers. It must be the scent of cut timber, too, ha!

I was going to post and then I got busy cleaning up my disgusting mess of a room to set up a second monitor that I don't need and now I'm feeling lazy again. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.
