I can't see much value in a 14-year-old princess in any political setting, unless I am underestimating her. Like, it could be her matrix abilities, too, how could I know? Maybe, there's a web of power flowing in multiple matrices connecting the royal family and more power, who knows? Honestly, I don't care much of the political or tactical discussion, though if others are, that's definitely good, shows they're interested and invested.
I don't see why 14 year olds couldn't be relevant in politics, especially when succession is decided by blood rather than how long you've been in the job. As someone pointed out to me the other day, in the modern era, the longer the lifespan the longer the childhood - I mean, in our grandparents era it was common to drop out of school at 12 and start some sort of manual labour job. Nowadays 12 year olds are still practicing (and sometimes flunking) their 10 times tables.
In short, kids aren't dumb, adults just refuse to teach em.
Teens are a product of their time, I think.

It's quite easy to be relevant in politics when you're the Princess of one of the largest nations in the world. She's been taught from birth how to be relevant, and what she should do in the setting.
It has nothing to do with personal strength; politics almost never does.

I need the Gareth/Bridgett argument to come to a point where something can be interjected before I post anything.
