Hunh, never heard of kratom, seems to be an olive-colored capsule. Sounds kinda boring, you just swallow it and then nothing, but at least it's easy to do, and you definitely can't burn your house down by accident, either. But ya, a man's vices choose him, har har!

Every time I hear a drinker or smoker say "don't do drugs, kids", I don't think it's for the benefit of the people they're advising. It's because they want to be rebels, and rebels can't be in the majority. O_o I mean, really, there's nothing wrong with either if you're not stupid about it.

I see, so Kratom's a legal, mild version of opium. Never had either, I'm not into that stuff, it just doesn't suit me.

Annie, yes, I think your post is OK. I just reread it, too, so it's fine.

Interesting point, West, I never really thought about it that way. But yes, it does make sense, I was often a rebellious person, even in elementary school. I tend to be non-conforming, so I can be difficult to deal with, but I don't get pushy over it too much, generally. I just like it when people do their thing their way, and I do my things my way. Alcohol helps me relax, and cigars, well, they're just cool, and you can actually taste them, and they have history! And, just as you said, there's nothing wrong if you're smart, and I think I am doing it smart, at least so far.
