I dunno, it might sound hallow comming from me who usually has fairly 2 dimensional characters - but what are adventures, magic and powers if your character identity is lacking?
I feel that, at least in my views, a character who lacks identity and powers must progress through whatever conditions are present and adapt to the environment, and achieve power.

For example, in many classic video games, you begin the adventure with nothing, and gradually obtain items, powers, abilities, friends, etc.
In London’s case, I was thinking of (somehow and eventually) utilizing her and her friends (one of which I accidentally created due to bad memory) in clever ways to progress through whatever events we stumble upon.

So, if a character lacks identity, the obtainable abilities and items should explore or represent the character. Or so that is what I do in my works, it may or may not be workable for a role-play. Hopefully, I can finally implement this in the RP.

Annie,
Yes, and I lack sleep basically every night. Not fun.

Wait, they have midnight hockey games? O_o

I couldn't imagine anything worse than playing sports durring sleeping/partying hours!

I suppose if the hockey games go late into the night everyone will be too tired to riot.
Ha! Good point! This idea could save quite a lot of property and money.

Spoiler: This new friend is a delusion. And we all know what that means.

I don't think events and abilities are substitutes for emotional attachment to a character’s personality. At the end of the day, deeds mean nothing if you care nothing for the characters – a pitfall many anime (and live-anime-adaptions) fall into. You just end up with a character who has everything, and earned none of it... and nobody wants to see that!

This is probably why I’m trying to experiment a little more with character personality tropes and flaws. I want to make my characters a little more predictable so I can actually care about them.

West,
Ah, so that's what she is. I can only imagine what horrors lie in wait for us. ...actually, that's a good idea, let's have this imaginary evil thing that kills people, starts fires, and induces hysteria, why not? Or whatever you want, of course.

Hm, I can only speak of behalf of my experience as an unpopular, unsuccessful, unimposing writer, but for me, what attaches me emotionally is simple: create a maternal or paternal bond, just as I said last time, basically. That is, it does not have to be an actual character behaviour, it can also be a bond between the reader/writer/player and the character.

Gun,
Make your own RP, maybe? This could be quite the new experience, challenge and activity for you and us.

Annie,
Yes, I think your post is OK.
