It's quite a weird film, to say the least. It's basically surreal expressionism, so it's not meant to make sense. Basically, the masked man is God, who is cutting himself open with a razor. From his blood and guts, a woman materializes, and impregnates herself with the remains of God. She then gives birth to a weird naked adult, who later on gets dragged off by an umbilical cord and cultists to be killed. Basically, it's a retelling of the story of Jesus, in quite a weird manner.

Hello again! Reading is going well. I'm reading 2 of Shakespeare's plays at the same time for different classes and I keep mixing up the events and characters (basically I forget what is happening in one and think it's happening in the other), but I'm getting better. Other than that, my class dedicated to writing is starting to pick up a little more which is immensely entertaining. I'm feeling way less stressed than last semester. :)

To be fair, I usually forget which character belongs to what play too. That said, I've never really had to make a study of it.
