Ah yes, the appearances that I always miss.

Seriously, these things always happen the one night every seven months that I happen to be out with friends. I don't know how you people manage to time them so well. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

In one corner, you have Inferi's Roleplay, A Path Through The Skies . Its sort of like a modern sci-fi thing, only technology is powered by these odd magical crystal devices. We were in an airship, some guys boarded and tried to kidnap a princess (I saved the day), the airship crashed (not my fault), and now we're at the crash site in the forest below, engaging in a mini-boss battle with Harambe's dad.

In another corner, you have The World's End . It's a standard fantasy roleplay that appears to have a focus on dungeon crawling, and Chris Cook (the thread owner) is providing a great deal of leeway for players to come up with their own ideas on the world. We're still at the "everyone is meeting up in a tavern" stage, and naturally Annie had an outburst with her powers.

Then you have Azi's roleplay, Wake Up , which is a futuristic sci-fi roleplay with a trait system. I haven't joined that, so I can't comment on the plot progression. Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.

Wake Up currently deals with Inferi's X7A infiltrating a mysterious facility. Wake Up is a cyberpunk that also mixes features from Mass Effect, and a tiny bit of Star Wars, but the scifi themes are quite limited, so there are so military spaceships or light speed travel, for example. Wake Up has many pictures that showcase what the RP is about.

Annie and London had been captured. And damn you Inferi, your clever decisions regarding Communications took me by surprise. I never would have thought of X7A's choice. Shows that you know much more about hi-tech stuff than I do! Oh well, this is just the first mission, so the difficulty is kept low, because I'm so nice, ha. Ha-ha-ha, haha, ha. Ha, ha. Ha.
