Is the Middle East being a war-torn hellhole a reference to my RP? Because the Middle East isn't a war-torn hellhole in my RP. I even mention Drells live in areas with hotter climates, like India and Arabia (unless I forgot to mention that). If you mean Zbigniew's bio, he is a copy-paste from Allelic Drift, but it's mentioned he was in Afghanistan as part of his military service and no other Middle Eastern country is mentioned.

Since Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, and quite a few Arab countries have rather brutal government, and terrorism is still a problem here and there, I do assume such problems will persist. For example, western Africa is still a brutally violent place, and has been, for quite a few thousand years. Eastern Europe is more violent than Western Europe, and has been so for well over a thousand years. Cyberpunk is meant to be 'hi-tech but lowlife' so I wanted to keep that theme. The RP mentions that we aren't in a utopia, and suggests it leans towards action and adventure.
