Ha, ya, poison would work in a duel! In Hamlet, a poison sword is attempted in a duel, after all, so Shakespeare knew what works!

As for writer's block, I tend to not have those, but sometimes, I just don't feel like writing. I can only work on my novels when I have silence, solitude, and security; if any are missing, I just can't think straight. Also, you don't need a special moment to write, you just write to write, that's it. Ironically, willingness to write and create has never helped me in anything, my fanbase has never exceeded more than a few temporary readers, so maybe my procedure is actually really bad. Oh well, at least I tried to do something, that's better than nothing.

I made a mistake in GvG. Heinrich was meant to be 14, not 4. Obviously, most 4-year-olds would not be able to swim out a river, so I just fixed his age.

To be fair, most adults can't either. The trick is to guide yourself to the side of the river through body positioning (kinda turning yourself into a rudder). Most people would try fighting the current and exhaust themselves fruitlessly. From personal experience, you really can't swim through a strong river current.

I can cheese this system;

Fix Poison or add in a mechanic to 'save' against it or small stealthy ranged characters + traps will win 100% of the time after 3 rounds because you have greater action economy. (At the very least poison shouldn't reduce AP.)

AP issues;

Action Economy wins 100% of the time. If your wielding a weapon that takes 2/3 AP and your opponent duel wields two 1AP weapons or even shield and board you've lost because they have doubled their damage output or simply have more attacks to hit you with.

This is made worse with conditions as your also doubling your chances of making your opponent suffer.
