I posted my PvP/E Combat system. I will be rereading it and simplifying it as much as possible, be replacing full sentences with brevity or point-form details. Suggestions, ideas, criticism, and so on, may help expand what I have created thus far, but it turned out to be much longer than I expected. There are a few reserves here and there, so there's room to add new ideas and whatnot.

EDIT: Whoa whoa whoa. I can't even peddle a bicycle at 25km/h, and that's your BASE running speed? :P I think 10-15km/h might be more representitive of a normal physical ability in today's society.

Ah, alright, I getcha. Just let me know if I should change it, or any of the colors, alright? I'm not trying to make it difficult for people to read by adding color to the dialogue.

You have percentages. Dear god no don't have percentages.

Maybe this is just me, but I'm about 0% interested in a PvP system.

What I took from Azi's thread on my first readthrough was:

A ~ You get 10 action points.

B ~ Every turn, you get 5 more action points.

C ~ Every action has a cost.

D ~ Weapons each have different abilities, and cannot be wielded in different styles.

E ~ Defence is based on a universal guard (same % regardless of method of attack or defence)

F ~ There are 3 conditions that can be applied in battle – Concuss, Cripple, Shatter. Ablaze, Icebound and Electrified should be added here. I would also suggest another three conditions – bleeding (you are steadily damaged for a mortal wound), poison (self-explanatory), Disease and Torment (a person’s action points is crippled by mental disturbances like PTSD, stress or crippling fear).

G ~ Characters may have a “special attack” and “combo attack” similar to fighting games.

H ~ Once a person hits -21 action points, they may be killed.

I ~ oh, it seems bleeding does exist. Stop spreading your damn conditions everywhere!

J ~ Armour can take damage, once durability reaches 0 the defensive value is halved. Defensive values are measured by the first numeric of the defensive percentage (8=80% resistance).

K ~ Some armours might have unique stats.

L ~ Damage is measured by (offensive roll). If this is successful, the opponent will roll a (defensive roll) to attempt to avoid damage/conditions. The larger the weapon, the more damage your armour’s durability will take (values between 1-3).

M ~ A lot of metal armours are fire retardant – which is odd, considering some of these armours are conductive to electricity (meaning they must conduct heat very well, which would cook the wearer). Such armour would also be dangerous to ice damage, since metal conducts heat – namely, your heat. This means cooled metal is liable to give you frostbite when exposed to bare skin.




EDIT: In short, while it was a good attempt, this looks a lot like the Official Yugioh Handbook.
