Which just means I'm right.

It doesn't matter if you're right. What matters is that you aren't around anymore, therefore making me right by default.

Unfortunately for you, that's not how science works.

Dendar didn't necessarily wish to proactively kill the gods but her presence set in motion events that resulted in the loss of significant portions of each races respectively Pantheons. The relationship between gods and mortals is one of mutual benefit.

When a mortal dies their soul is claimed by one of two entities. A Duke of the Nine Hells or a Deity, in the instance of a God claiming a soul it is usually the one who that individual identified with, in most cases this is the Deity they worship. In return when a Divine Beast or Divine Champion calls upon that gods aid through prayers the god answers thus allowing Clerics and Paladins to perform the feats they do but this power is ultimately stemming from the fact they have the souls and prayer power necessary to perform the action requested.

So you have a cycle;
1: Deities answer prayers with blessings and miracles
2: Divine Beasts/Champions use this to perform certain actions
3: Individuals die and return to the domain that most suited their character.
4: Power returns to the deities. Step 1 again.

When Dendar first appeared the horrors that it spawned led to a increasing demand upon the gods to fulfil their side of the bargain, under normal circumstances this wouldn't have been an issue but Dendar siphons the souls to sate her hunger and thus become more powerful she blocked the cycle so it became;

1: Deities answer prayers with blessings and miracles
2: Divine Beasts/Champions use this to perform certain actions
3: Individuals die and return to the domain that most suited their character.
4: Dendar siphons the soul, the deities do not regain their strength. End of the Line.

It was an apocalyptic event for the gods and unlucky for them, they aren't mortal. They have no free will and are bound to what they represent and what the Weave (Fate) has decided for them. Power doesn't mean much when you can't use it effectively or when fate has determined your demise. Mortals have that choice.

Hope that explains it.

In short the gods died because, they were being starved by their own followers and Dendar, meaning that when some did decide to act they weren't exactly in good shape. This also led to the Primordials returning amongst other nasty things, but thankfully not every hostile force in the world appreciates a creature trying to destroy the world they wish to rule over.

There is quite a lot of lore to the world for example the reason behind the Kenku being wingless Tengu.

Edit: I'll get this started in next 24 hours for those waiting, just want to check with some old friends see if they are interested in joining :)

-Sigh- I really need to find a DnD group. :P

I mean, it's probably possible to set up a DnD group from people here on the forums. There are websites that make it work online.

But if it's sheer ridiculousness like this that you're going for, you have to have a REALLY lenient DM.

EDIT: I suppose it's time for me to write something, eh?

EDIT EDIT: Nope, guess not. I need to see what Annie is gonna do first.

Well...I'd say if you carried on for much longer, I wouldn't give you the option to jump out safely anymore. As it is, because it's not parachutes but rather a "counter-force" system, you've got a larger window than you would, and it's still safe if you'd like to jump.

Now, to actually answer your question...not long. Under a minute definitely - which any cast member that knows basic physics as well as airship flight stuff would know as well - but apart from that it's difficult to give an estimate because you guys don't know the extent of the damage or how skilled the piloting crew are.

I assume that helps 0%, right?
